Natural Forms
Since discovering the traditional, age-old technique of steam-bending wood as a design student, Tom has been on a self-taught journey to develop and understand the process better. The ecological technique allows him to create intricate curves and twists in his pieces, mimicking organic shapes and celebrating the very thing that inspires him – nature. “People are abandoning trends and turning towards quality materials and décor,” he explains. “For us, that's a reflection of nature and greenery, both of which have been proven to improve our mood. Rounded forms also feel more nurturing – as do warming tones and varied textures.”
Sustainable Ethos
Tom is one of a new generation of designers using innovative and contemporary methods. Leading the charge in sustainable design, he’s forged a new path that causes as little environmental impact as possible. “Our goal is to create new ways of living with unique, quality homeware that’s inspired by nature and designed to last a lifetime,” he explains. “We love using traditional craft processes in sustainable and innovative ways.” Everything is handcrafted in a Cornish workshop and inspired by the dramatic Cornish coastline.

The Collection
Pendants
These eye-catching wooden ceiling lights will be the talking point in any space. Many of the designs look different from different angles, reflecting Tom’s playful approach to design. Suitable for multiple spaces or rooms, each one comes in ash, oak and walnut wood. We love the Skipper pendant – where pared-back design meets Tom’s signature curves – and the more minimal Verso, which is cleverly crafted from one continuous length of sustainably sourced timber.
Table Lamps
Using the same steam-bending technique, this diverse range of wooden table lights will instantly switch up your desk or bedside table. The strong simplicity of the Hanter desk lamp, with its brass fitting and exposed flex, feels modern and cool, while the Verso is a complex marriage of form and space.
Wall Lights
Layered lighting can help you create a particular mood or atmosphere, while considered wall lighting adds comfort, texture and natural pattern. The Neap wall light is made from a single piece of sustainably sourced oak or walnut wood, which seamlessly intertwines to give off a soft ambient glow. Taking inspiration from organic shapes, movements and sequential patterns in the natural world, the Arame wall light creates endless light and shadows – whether switched on or off.
