Outdoor spaces are such an important extension of the home. We approach gardens and terraces in exactly the same way we approach interiors – layering texture, atmosphere and timeless materials to create spaces that feel both elegant and inviting. We’re drawn to natural stone, woven textures, soft lighting and sculptural details that feel collected rather than overly styled. Whether it’s a relaxed lunch under a parasol or candlelit evenings with family and friends, we love creating outdoor settings that feel warm, romantic and effortlessly sophisticated, surrounded by olive trees, lavender, hydrangeas and abundant greenery.

I wanted to create something fun but I also wanted it to feel like another room in the home. My scheme centres on a large patio where you can relax on the Toscana sofa, dine at a table (in a colour of your choice – I went for black cherry) under an umbrella with a drink in hand. We recently bought a Kadi BBQ which doubles as a fire pit, super useful in gardens with limited space. Vintage pieces always add character, so I love hunting down an old urn or planter. Finally, don't forget about the lighting – create the right mood and you'll want to spend even more time outside.

This garden scheme captures the kind of relaxed, sun-soaked elegance inspired by glamorous Mediterranean terraces. Layered stripes in coral, sky blue and sea green bring a playful, nostalgic charm, balanced by natural textures including wicker, rattan and aged terracotta. Sculptural lanterns, scalloped detailing and decorative planters add character and softness, while the mix of iron, stone and woven finishes creates depth and timeless appeal. The overall feel is inviting and leisurely, designed for long lunches, evening drinks and effortless outdoor entertaining.

Our dream outdoor space is somewhere that feels considered and lived-in from the moment you step outside. The palette centres on earthy terracotta and moss green, layered with warm camel and amber so it feels grounded and inviting. We love the mix of textures: wicker, linen, ceramics and natural fibre – nothing too precious but completely intentional. It's designed for long summer evenings with friends: a proper dining moment, a lounging corner, great lighting and a few playful details that make it feel like home.
