What’s New In Interiors This Month

This month, USM and Buchanan Studio reunite for a festive collaboration – and to mark the opening of USM’s new modular furniture store in Marylebone – with a joyful “Kiss-Mas” takeover. Building on the success of TESSELLATE, the debut collection the pair launched in May, the partnership continues with a range of new, collectable designs spanning trays, planters and multi-use pots. Functional yet inherently expressive, the hero Tray arrives in two new silhouettes: Square and Kiss – the latter a playful nod to the signature motif from TESSELLATE’s Kiss Side Table. Offered in four colour combinations, the collection once again spotlights the special-edition BS Pink that has become synonymous with Buchanan Studio’s aesthetic.

Neptune’s new Borough collection puts a fresh, modern spin on the classic kitchen with a range of freestanding pieces shaped by more than 30 years of design know-how. Each element – from the cook’s island to the sink cabinet and pantry – is fitted for appliances yet designed to stand alone or work as a complete set, creating a relaxed, free-flowing alternative to traditional cabinetry. Raised on tapered legs, Borough nods to mid-century Scandinavian style while retaining a distinctly British sensibility. Clean architectural lines meet gently rounded corners, giving the collection a timeless yet contemporary feel. Thoughtfully crafted to integrate seamlessly into a home’s existing architecture, Borough suits open-plan layouts, as well as fitted kitchens, balancing practical function with considered design.

British accessories brand London Velvet is stepping into the interiors world with its first homeware design: the Tidy Tray. Known for its bold colour combos and playful craftsmanship, the brand brings the same vibrant sensibility to this new offering – a chic, functional piece designed to elevate everyday organisation. Available in large or small, the Tidy Tray is available in two colourways: light blue with orange or burgundy with chocolate. Each palette showcases London Velvet’s signature approach to contrasting tones, making the trays equally suited to dressing tables, coffee tables or hallways. Combining practicality with decorative appeal, the trays feature soft leather exteriors, warm suede interiors and folded corners with looped detailing for a tactile, luxurious finish.

Founded by friends Luke Harvey and Catherine Miller – who have more than 20 years of fashion print experience between them – Curate Space is a new wallpaper brand that takes an artist-led approach. Each design starts with one of Catherine’s original hand-drawn or hand-painted sketches, then is developed in the brand’s East London studio into expressive, timeless prints. The brand has launched with three collections – The Curiosity Series, The Portraits Series and The Studio Series. Clients and trade partners can request bespoke colourways and scale options, and every roll is printed to order using responsibly sourced materials and water-based inks.
