What’s New In Interiors This Month
THE FABRIC DEBUT:
Imogen Pope
Initially designed with lampshades in mind, Imogen began to receive requests from interior designers and friends who wanted to apply the playful patterns and delicate embroidery that Imogen has become synonymous with to other elements of their homes, from cushions to café curtains. Composed from 100% linen, cotton or a 50/50 blend of the two, Imogen Pope’s first collection of 16 fabrics is divided into three styles: The Embroidered Cotton, Florina and The Fine Stripe. This collection contains both familiar designs (as seen on her lampshades) and two new Embroidered Cotton colourways: ‘Damson’ and ‘Magnolia’. Featuring embroidered details, woven textures and playful patterns, each design is hand-drawn by Imogen and crafted to sit happily in both classic and contemporary settings.

THE PATTERN STUDIO:
Tulips By Ottoline
London-based design studio Ottoline brings its signature sense of play to a new fabric offering, reworking one of its most recognisable motifs into a richly textured woven. Originally known for its distinctive wallpapers, the brand has built a following for its bold, characterful patterns, usually in bright, cheerful colourways. That same approach carries through into the new Indian Tulips fabric. Translating a much-loved wallpaper design into cloth, the pattern feels both nostalgic and fresh with stylised florals and a slightly offbeat repeat that gives it Ottoline’s unmistakable charm. Available in three colourways – coral, sage and denim – it’s designed to mix easily with other prints or stand alone as a statement.
