Set up two weeks ago by interior designer Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Design Havens for Heroes is a new charitable initiative which sees interior designers and suppliers donate their services or product towards creating a "thank you" room makeover for NHS workers – once lockdown is over – who can be nominated by friends, family and colleagues on Instagram. Top interior designers such as Kate Guinness, Fiona Duke, Henry Prideaux and Julia Alexander are all involved, as well as big name suppliers including Colefax & Fowler, Sanderson, William Yeoward, The Little Greene Paint Company, Edward Bulmer Paints, Farrow & Ball, Blithfield, Neptune, The Design Archives, Tom Dixon, De Gournay and Sofa.com. Finally, a raft of smaller businesses including Zoe Glencross, Anna Jacobs, Susan Deliss, and Divine Savages are all pitching in, too.
