If you’re into interiors, you probably spend plenty of time poring over home tours and beautiful rooms on Instagram. But have you ever imagined what it would be like to experience one of these spaces for real? From now until 1st July, anyone can walk through rooms designed by 20 of the world’s leading interior experts at the WOW!house at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, London. Here’s why you won’t want to miss it…

Created in partnership with WOW!house & Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour

Garden Room by Campbell Rey

Some of our favourite designers are taking part, including Turner Pocock, Joanna Plant, Rita Konig, Stephanie Barba Mendoza, Kit and Minnie Kemp and Linda Boronkay. As part of this unique collective, everyone has a distinctive style – from timeless elegance and inviting comfort to boldly dramatic, globe-trotting fantasy and romance. Whether you’re a design professional or just want a bit of inspiration for your own project, this promises to be a full-on sensory journey, with a conceptual sound artist creating the perfect background and an Italian perfumery matching scents to each space.

Here Are Some Of The Rooms We Can't Wait To Experience...

Entrance Foyer

by Shalini Misra

Shalini Misra and her team have done far more than design a transitional space – they’ve created a fully immersive experience. Look up to see an extravagant chandelier made from recycled plastic bottles and discover a round dining table crafted from lilac marble and patinated bronze. Meanwhile, a classical Portland stone fireplace is set against white silk wallpaper painted to reflect a pretty Asian garden. There’s also NFT artwork on the wall, and artisan details like panelling and cornicing amid a scattering of mid-century furnishings.

GP & J Baker Morning Room

by Rita Konig

London-based interior designer Rita Konig is known for designing rooms you never want to leave and as you step into the morning room she’s designed with sponsor GP & J Baker, you won’t be able to resist lingering amid the greenery. ‘Ferns’ is the undisputed hero of the Morning Room, wrapping the walls and framing the windows. The fabric is mixed with other GP & J Baker classics on the sofa and armchairs. Everywhere you look, something – another print, an antique side table, a painting, a fascinating objet trouvé – catches your eye, prompting conversation and creating a sense of comfort and ease.

Julian Chichester Library

by Turner Pocock

Created by award-winning interior design studio Turner Pocock in partnership with luxury British furniture company Julian Chichester, this is a space designed to delight the eye, spark the mind and feed the soul. The bookcase that lines one corner of the room is made from dark smoked oak, black leather and aged brass and upholstered lounge chairs with reclining backs are grouped together around a low coffee table. Table lamps, floor lamps and a sculptural chandelier cast layers of mellow light around the space, while a drinks trolley asks you to pour yourself a glass, browse the books and take a seat.

Tissus d’Hélène Bedroom

by Joanna Plant

The celebration of pattern continues in this sun-filled bedroom by interior design studio Joanna Plant in partnership with sponsor, artisanal fabric and wallcovering specialist Tissus d’Hélène. Floral prints trail across the walls, entwine over the curtains and bloom on the bed, conjuring up the image of a garden at the height of summer. In the centre of all this pattern is a bed covered by a brilliant yellow canopy.
