Anthropologie x Skye McAlpine
Anthropologie’s homeware collaboration with British cook and food writer Skye McAlpine launches next month. Inspired by Skye’s love of Venice and London, the collection includes a mix of Italian influences and traditional pottery techniques, and takes additional inspiration from pieces of English antique china. We love the delicate floral collection, which draws on Skye's love of nature, especially the sweet hand-written notes inside the mugs.
Ciao Chiara x Papier
Chiara Perano aka Ciao Chiara is an English-Italian artist based in East London, whose playful, nostalgic pieces celebrate the joys of everyday life, family, good food and design – in other words La Dolce Vita. These charming and fun artworks will instantly transport you to sunnier climes, and you can also choose from a range of frames.
Host x Polly Fern
London-based interiors brand Host has teamed up with British ceramicist and illustrator Polly Fern to develop a range of hand-embroidered napkins. The collection combines Host’s playful, patterned style with Polly’s highly-collectable whimsical, hand-painted designs. We love the Flora collection, which features Polly’s paintings of flowers she grows in her own garden, while the Romantic Vases range is inspired by Polly’s ceramics.
East London Parasol Company
New for 2020, the East London Parasol Company’s William Morris collection showcases a selection of beautiful parasols in varying sizes. A pioneer of the Arts and Crafts movement, Morris was strongly influenced by his natural surroundings, as well as Indian and Eastern art. With pieces reworking and re-colouring renowned Morris prints, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the William Morris Gallery.
Samuel & Sons
There’s no reason why outdoor upholstery shouldn’t be given the same decorative attention as indoor furniture. Embrace pattern and colour with these durable trimmings from the Saisons and Regatta collections by Samuel & Sons. The bold woven designs can be used on cushions, throws, lampshades or chairs.
This furniture and home accessories range endeavours to produce increasingly sustainable products, while also supporting young, up and coming designers through collaborations. Updating patterns and florals in fresh, bright colours, from eye-catching headboards to colourful cushions, these pieces are guaranteed to brighten up any room.
Based in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, founder Caroline Inchyra has created a range of unique fabrics and accessories. Since launching archive-inspired linens in 2012, the Inchyra range has grown to include pure Scottish wools, alongside co-ordinating cushions and throws. Her latest designs include Torchon, a lace stripe on fine Belgian linen, and Balazuc – a collection of strong, vibrant designs marrying French styles with Eastern Europe and North Africa.
Original Style Tiles
Original Style has been working on some exciting new additions to their iconic Victorian Floor Tile collection. This summer sees the introduction of Carnation Pink (beautiful when integrated in to a checkerboard pattern alongside grey), Spring Green (the perfect choice for those looking for a softer shade to go with white and grey) and Hawthorn Yellow (a fresh, modern twist on more traditional cream).
When it comes to tablescapes, few do it better than Alice Naylor Leyland. New to her collection are these unique ceramic woven plates; the delightful wicker pattern is exclusively handmade for her line in Italy. Available in blue and green, the plates also come in two different sizes.
