Junior Video & Social Media Editor
SheerLuxe is looking for a creative and highly motivated junior video & social media editor to join our growing team. This is a newly created position and a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about content creation, video editing and social media to work in a fast-paced lifestyle media brand.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will play a key part in producing engaging video content for our social media channels, including YouTube. You will work closely across both the video and social teams to turnaround high-quality content to very tight deadlines. This will include faultless subtitling and ensuring all work produced aligns with the SheerLuxe aesthetic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Editing short and long form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Subtitling all content to a high level of accuracy in line with brand guidelines and the SheerLuxe house style.
- Repurposing editorial and video content into engaging reels, TikToks and YT shorts.
- Assist in filming video content for social and branded campaigns.
Adding graphics, subtitles and animation. - Assisting in trend research – to stay ahead of viral formats and content styles.
ABOUT YOU
SheerLuxe is a growing business. Successful candidates will come hungry to prove themselves in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet short deadlines and the demands of social media.
- You will have 1+ years of experience in video editing and social media for a brand, publisher or agency.
- Proven experience in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and CapCut is imperative.
- You will be up to date on content styles across all social platforms.
- You will have a passion for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and digital media.
- This role needs someone who is a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.

Salary: DEO but please note this is a junior position
