SheerLuxe Is Hiring A Fashion Assistant

SheerLuxe is looking for a passionate and highly organised fashion assistant to join the team working across editorial, social and shoot production. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading digital lifestyle publishers in an exciting, fast-paced role that offers hands-on experience across every aspect of the fashion desk.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an entry level position ideal for someone looking to break into the industry with an exceptional eye for style, a love for fashion and media, and a deep understanding of the SheerLuxe aesthetic. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our fashion content – from managing the fashion cupboard to assisting on high-profile shoots and contributing to editorial.

You will be passionate, energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of new-season trends, under-the-radar brands and emerging influencers. A genuine love for content creation, social media and styling is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will oversee all fashion product, returns and deliveries – maintaining a meticulously organised fashion cupboard and product ledger.

You will work closely with the fashion editors and our art director to prep and pack for shoots for all our supplements, assisting on set and supporting with styling.

You will be available for last-minute product sourcing across London.

You will be on top of fashion trends, new brands and product launches, contributing ideas to shoot planning and editorial meetings.

You will be responsible for selecting products and links for site features written by the editorial team.

You will apply scrutiny to product links and fashion stories before they go live to confirm stock levels and ensure accuracy.

You will be able to contribute to brainstorming sessions for SL and LG social content – sourcing looks, creating moodboards and assisting with filming.

ABOUT YOU

You will be obsessed with fashion and have a strong interest in digital media.

You will be confident with an assured sense of style aligned with the SheerLuxe brand.

You will have an exceptional work ethic – able to demonstrate you can juggle multiple tasks with tight turnaround times to a very high standard.

You will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

You will have a great working knowledge of key fashion brands – from designer to high-street and cult favourites.

You will be able to prove an understanding of influencers who align with the SheerLuxe brand.

You must be a real team-player with a willingness to get stuck in and be of the mindset even the smallest tasks demand your best attention.

Previous internship or experience in a similar environment is a plus, but not essential.

This role is based in our office in SW London. This role cannot be carried out remotely.
