Social Media Assistant

We’re hiring a Social Media Assistant to join our fast-growing social team and help take LuxeGen and SLMan to the next level across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. With a combined audience of 5.5m and counting, this is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their social media career. You’ll play a key part in shaping the LuxeGen and SLMan accounts, bringing your creativity and insights to drive real growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • You will primarily be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the  social accounts for LuxeGen and SLMan. This includes Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Under the leadership of your manager, you will be instrumental in driving growth across all channels.
  • You will be responsible for filming and executing social media content for Instagram and TikTok.
  • You will also support other members of your team working across all channels for all of our brands. 
  • You must be confident at crafting on-brand captions that match each platform’s unique tone of voice.
  • You will be hands-on with content creation, both in-house and on the go.
  • You will be responsible for community management – replying to comments in the appropriate tone of voice and building connections.
  • You will stay up to date with trends, viral moments and trending audios.
  • You will be responsible for scheduling and uploading daily content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • You will be expected to analyse performance metrics and platform insights to refine content strategy and boost engagement when needed.

ABOUT YOU

  • We are looking for someone who is obsessed with social media, always on top of the latest trends, with a strong interest in Gen Z culture and men’s lifestyle, fashion and grooming. 
  • You will have a deep understanding of SheerLuxe’s platforms, tone of voice, and aesthetic, with the ability to translate this across different channels.
  • You will be confident using InShot and Capcut. 
  • This role needs someone who is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining an impeccable eye for detail. 
  • You must be driven, ambitious and eager to make an impact, with a creative mindset for social media.
  • You must be a team player who takes direction well while also bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
  • To thrive in this role you will need to be passionate about fashion, beauty and lifestyle, contributing ideas that align with SheerLuxe’s brand.

This role requires flexibility as weekend and evening out of hours work are part of this role.

You will report to our Head of Social and collaborate closely with our Social Media Executives and Social Assistant, whilst also working alongside the Marketing Director and Editor-In-Chief.

This role is based in our office in SW London. This role cannot be carried out remotely.
