MAKE-UP

Decorté Eye Glow Gem, £25

Available in three suits-all summer tones, these little pots of eyeshadow are a great way to create a romantic, fresh look. You’ll love the dewy texture, which is easy to blend and build up for fuller, more intense pigment. Unlike similar products, these don’t dull or dry out quickly, so expect them to last the whole day. The soft, muted pink is our go-to shade for instant luminosity.

Bobbi Brown Face Liquid Highlighter, £30

You can always rely on Bobbi Brown for high-quality make-up and their latest highlighters don’t disappoint. This luminous gel has a watery quality to it that melts into the skin, while the colour has a rosy dry down that’s flattering on all skin tones. Tap it on top of your make-up, or massage it in all over pre-foundation to let it breathe through more naturally. You can layer it on neat to eyelids, too, if you want a wet-look finish.

By Terry, My Best of Set, £62

Whether you’ve had your eye on By Terry for a while, or you’re looking for a very special gift, this new set won’t disappoint. Full of the brand’s bestsellers, it’s a great way to try some of their most covetable buys – from the popular Hydra-Primer to the silky CC Serum and easy-to-use Eye Chalks. Extra points go to the spacious travel bag it comes in – great for on-the-go.

NARS Sunkissed Bronzing Cream, £30

NARS are probably best-known for their iconic Laguna Bronzer, so it only seems fitting they’ve used the cult product as inspiration for their latest cream formula. A limited edition, you’ll need to be quick. A cream-to-powder texture, it’s easy to work with and buff into the skin, before it sets into place and stays there for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, added coconut oil gives your complexion a healthy-looking sheen, while the colour is warm and suits everyone. A must-have for summer.

FRAGRANCE

DedCool Fragrance Number 01, $90

DedCool has finally made its way over to the UK and we’re thrilled. The clean-fragrance brand is vegan, unisex and pared back, while still remaining aesthetically pleasing. There’s a concise selection available, but this one is a unanimous bestseller across nearly every retailer. Expect to find notes of bergamot, fresh dew, flora, cassis and vanilla for something that feels sophisticated, musky and wearable year-round.

Le Labo Encens 9 Scented Candle, £52

If you love Le Labo fragrances, you’ll enjoy their latest candle: Encens 9. It’s the first they’ve added to the collection since 2019, and it more than lives up to the hype. The fragrance is heavy – as the name suggests – with notes of incense and patchouli, but it’s well-balanced, with musk and amber bringing about a fresher quality. The result? A scent that’s clean, warm and reminiscent of a cosy cottage.

HAIRCARE

Fekkai Super Strength Treatment Masque, £24

Celebrity hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai is channelling his talent and expertise into a new conscious range. Created with plant derived ingredients, each product is free from parabens, sulfates, silicones and phthalates. Our favourite in the line-up is this nourishing masque, which harnesses keratin, vitamin B5 and rice protein for a formula that protects, encourages growth and seals your cuticles for healthier-looking hair. You only need a small amount run through from the roots to ends – just leave it on for four or five minutes, then rinse it off. You’ll notice how much softer your hair feels immediately, with plenty of added shine to boot.

Susteau Moondust Hair Wash, £11

New brand Susteau isn’t one to be missed. Designed with the ‘waterless’ trend in mind, their formulas are innovative powder-to-lather textures that cleanse, while also giving back to the environment. This clever shampoo activates on contact with water, working up to a rich, velvety foam that gets rid of all dirt, debris and product build-up. You’ll be amazed how good your hair feels post-wash, with more bounce, softness and body. Extra points go to the subtle scent of ylang ylang, geranium, blackcurrant and clove that lasts for hours.

L'Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil More Than Shampoo, £6.99

L'Oréal's shampoos never disappoint and their latest is no exception. With a mask-like, creamy texture, it's a must-try for those with dry, parched hair, or anyone prone to frizziness. It has a satisfying lather that gives your strands a coat of long-lasting moisture that stays put long after you've rinsed it away. Designed with hydrating ingredients - which are said to be forty times more nourishing than others on the market - it works fast to gently cleanse, smooth and add shine, without ever weighing the hair down. It's available in a colour protecting formula, and a length-enhancing one, too.

SKINCARE

MZ Skin Hydra-Boost Ampoules, £155

Single-dose skincare is having a moment right now, and for good reason. Encapsulating buzz-worthy ingredients, ampules are incredibly potent, offering optimum and speedy results. These ones from MZ are a must-try if you’re looking to reset your skin. Full of vitamin C, lactic and glycolic acid, they gently exfoliate your skin to ramp up radiance, while added hyaluronic acid hydrates and keeps irritation at bay. Quite the powerhouse, it works as a five-day course to give you results fast – you won’t be disappointed.

PAI Carbon Star Detoxifying Overnight Face Oil, £39

If your skin is congested, oily or looking a bit lacklustre, this oil is bound to help. Brimming with antibacterial organic black cumin seed oil, it purges clogged pores, while vitamins, enzymes and fatty acids absorb any dirt and excess oil for smoother-looking skin. The vegetable charcoal is a huge bonus, too – it works to gently exfoliate blemish-prone skin, without ever stripping any moisture away. Try massaging a few drops onto clean skin morning and night after you’ve applied your serum and/or moisturiser for best results. You’ll find results take a few weeks to show up, but stick with it – the outcome is worth it.

Available at LookFantastic.com

Lixirskin Universal Oil, £39

This is the very definition of multi-purpose. Designed to be used all over – from your scalp right down to your toes – Lixir’s silky oily is full of essential oils to boost circulation. Use it to hydrate your skin, or as a pre-shampoo treatment or even a bath oil. Whichever you choose, you’ll find it quickly softens your skin and hair and boosts the texture, too. Try mixing it with a sugar scrub to gently exfoliate, too – the options are endless.

Summer Fridays Pool Time Glowing Body Oil, £34

If you’re wanting to bare some skin but are feeling less than prepared, add this new body oil to your radar. Dry in texture, it’s non-sticky, while the formula itself is full of subtle minerals that catch the light beautifully. What’s more, added jojoba, apricot kernel and macadamia oils keep skin smooth and soft for a suppler appearance. It’s a great addition to your routine if you’re a fan of self-tan, too, as the moisturising properties will prolong and enhance the colour. You’ll love the mood-boosting scent of coconut and warm almond, too – a real summer hero.

TOOLS

PURSOMA Detox Beauty Body Brush, £29

Body brushes are a must-have in the warmer weather. While there are heaps available, none give gritty, thorough exfoliation quite like this one. The clever loop handle gives you total control as you massage it into your skin, while the dry texture of the brush works to exfoliate dead cells to leave behind brighter, smoother-looking limbs. It also encourages better blood flow – ideal if you’re sat at a desk for most of the day. Use it on dry skin, then massage in a body oil or cream after. You’ll find it helps products to better absorb, too.

Available at NET-A-Porter.com

JinSoon Cuticle Pusher + Reducer, $32

Everyone needs a good cuticle pusher and this is one of the best we’ve tried. Double-ended, it has small diamond particles that cling to the stainless-steel base. This helps it easily exfoliate excess cuticles and skin, while also smoothing uneven ridges. The two angles and lengths allow you to play with different nail shapes and sizes, too. A great multi-tasking tool that’s easy to use.

Available at JinSoon.com

Rodial The Teddy Brush, £45

We’re always on the hunt for good make-up brushes and this month, Rodial’s Teddy Brush gets our vote. Using vegan, synthetic bristles, it works with all formulas – be it powder, creams or liquids. It’s densely packed, too, so application is firm, but seamless, minimising streaks and unwanted patches. The domed tip is a nice addition, too, as it allows you to apply product to those hard-to-reach areas – around the nose and eyes – for an even, well-concealed finish.

Need some new make-up storage? This clever case is both compact and portable, plus, it has an in-built mirror with LED lights, sliding drawers, perforated jewellery holders and a transparent design that allows you to see everything clearly. Hard to believe it comes in under £50. Ideal for storing skincare, make-up, fragrances and your go-to tools, it’s a brilliant way to keep your beauty products neat and tidy.
