For Lifting & Sculpting

Pro Sculpta, £499 | Déesse PRO

Using low-level electrical current to stimulate the facial muscles, microcurrent is a brilliant pre-event treatment. I’m currently testing the Déesse Pro Sculpta and I’m really impressed. It immediately makes you appear more sculpted and lifted, and, with regular use, it can have a toning effect on the skin. Another at-home device I personally rate is the Ziip Halo.

For Reducing Water Retention

Lymphatic Brush £133 | Cecily Braden

The Cecily Braden Lymphatic Brush is gentle enough to effectively access the lymphatic system, without irritating the skin. It targets the lymph vessels and manually shifts fluid, resulting in reduced puffiness – so necessary if you have an early start. It’s incredibly soothing and is a really energising way to start your day.

For Smoothing Lines

Quartz Gua Sha, £25 | Seasonly

There are many gua sha options available, but I prefer rose quartz with a ridged edge. The ridged side is brilliant for working deeper into areas like frown lines, smile lines, crow’s feet and even up into the hairline to release tight connective tissue. A slightly more high-tech version is the Cloud Nine Heated Gua Sha Tool. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available but I’ve had mine for years and always reach for it. The combination of heat with the metal is amazing, the warmth dilates blood vessels and enhances circulation, while the gua sha sculpts and moves lymph. It’s a staple in my evening routine.

For Improved Elasticity

RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device, £299.99 | Currentbody Skin

CurrentBody’s RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device is one of the few gadgets I’ve used that delivers both an immediate glow and noticeable long-term results. Harnessing the power of radio frequency, it works by delivering thermal energy into the skin to stimulate collagen production, resulting in a long-term tightening effect.

For Multiple Benefits

Contour LED Face, £348 | Omnilux

LED light therapy is a hardworking multi-tasker, essential for calming inflammation, boosting collagen levels and evening out skin tone. Omnilux has an excellent, cutting-edge range of at-home masks, as does CurrentBody, but know that consistency is crucial for achieving the best results.”

For Depuffing

Set Of 4 Dessert Spoons, £4 (were £8) | John Lewis

So simple, and yet so effective. Whether chilled or dipped in lukewarm water, teaspoons pressed around the eye area is such a useful hack I’ve used for years for depuffing. Everyone has them in their house, and they’re ideal post-travel or for helping you appear refreshed after a late night.”
