Le Make Off, €39 | Ulé

For those new to Ulé, it is the latest skincare kid on the block to know about. Making its way over from France, it combines sustainably sourced ingredients with science-backed, botanical formulas for visible results. I’ve been loving its new cleansing balm, which has been created with sensitive skin types – like me – in mind. Velvety in texture, it breaks down dirt and make-up while cushioning skin in a hefty dose of moisture – I sometimes find the most effective cleansers can also leave my complexion feeling dry and tight. Immediately after I’ve used it my face feels softer and looks brighter. Extra points go to the sustainable packaging.

Phyto-Teint Nude, £78 | Sisley Paris

I’m the first to admit that this is an investment, but given it’s one of the best foundations I’ve ever tried, I can confirm it’s worth the money. It gives incredible coverage, smoothing out uneven tone and redness, but it’s totally weightless with a sheer, glow-y finish that’s hard to beat. You only need the tiniest amount, as the fluid consistency makes it so easy to blend out. Added ingredients like hyaluronic acid mean skin gets a hefty dose of nourishment too. I’ve managed to eke this out over six months, so if you’re considering taking the plunge, know that it will last you a fair amount of time.

Pro-Collagen Rose Micro Serum, £90 | Elemis

With tiny, suspended beads of moisture that burst over your skin as you massage it in, the Elemis Rose Micro Serum is so hydrating. It immediately feels cooling and alleviates any dry feelings of tightness thanks to red algae – an ingredient known to be three times more nourishing than hyaluronic acid. It’s full of pre-and post-biotics, so it’s perfect for keeping sensitivities at bay. I’ve noticed a real change in my complexion – it’s brighter and my breakouts and inflammation have improved, too.

Soleil Des Vignes Oil Elixir, £31 | Caudalie

The scent of this is just like a summer holiday, which is probably the reason I raced through it – that and the fact it feels so good on your skin. Full of hydrating oils – including argan, grape seed and shea – it soaks up scaly patches immediately. I like to use a good amount on the heels of my feet too – it works well to soften areas like this, while the pump means it’s not a faff to apply. A little bit also works on the hair to keep it smooth and shiny.

Nordic Wilds Body Oil, £16 | Space NK

Speaking of good body oils, this is my latest find from Space NK. Affordable and non-greasy, it’s full of softening oils – jojoba and avocado – to keep dryness and bumpy skin at bay. The fragrance is so addictive – black pepper, juniper berry and tonka bean combine for a scent that transports you to a fresh pine forest. It’s uplifting and quite comforting, too. I find it absorbs best onto damp skin to leave behind a nice sheen that looks really healthy.

Honey Infused Hair Mask, £45 | Gisou

If your hair is feeling brittle or generally a bit dehydrated, this is the mask to bring it back to life. I learnt the hard way that a little really does go a long way – too much, and you’ll find it’s too heavy. But when you get the application right, the results are impressive. Think softer, bouncier, glossier hair from the get-go. It helps to conceal split ends and over time it strengthens hair too, boosting its elasticity for better resilience, thanks to a powerful combination of vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants. As a blonde, I often find it hard to improve shine, but this really has helped.

Radio Child Eau de Parfum, £225 | BIBBI

Never has a fragrance earned me so many compliments. This is quite different to anything else I’ve tried recently, with an earthy, sweet element that blends nicely with your skin. There are also salted musks and oakmoss inside, making it a great choice for those who like cleaner scents with an animalistic quality to them. It lasts for ages on the skin and works nicely day to night.

Lash Tint Mascara in Brown, £14 | 19/99

I’ve said it before, but this is one of my favourite mascaras of all time – especially if you want a more subtle, daytime effect. The thin brush gives lashes just enough definition, but the formula is buildable and easy to work with. It’s the jet-black formula I’ve finished before, but the new brown shade is just as good. You’ll find you can reach every little lash for the perfect amount of impact.

Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, £36 | Hourglass

This, paired with Victoria Beckham’s Lip Definer in 02, is my current favourite lip combination. Both help to add shape and definition to the lips but in a way that never looks OTT. This is one of the first lip products I’ve ever come to the end of – which is saying something. As the name suggests, the formula is glossy and plumping, but with a balm-like consistency that nourishes and hydrates. It tingles a little too, but in a satisfying, rather than irritating, way. There are so many great shades to choose from, but ‘Haze’ is my favourite.

Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense, £150 | Jo Malone London

This might be my new go-to scent from Jo Malone London and it’s not just me who is loving it – it’s accumulated over two million views on TikTok. With notes of tonka bean, vanilla, almond and tobacco, it’s velvety and rich but never overpowering or cloying. It’s the ultimate night-out scent – grown-up, elegant and sophisticated.
