No matter the time of year, I want to keep my skin bouncy and balanced, and peptides are one of the keys to achieving this. They’re known for being the building blocks of firm skin, but they also help to soothe irritation too, and this hydrating moisturiser ticks all of those boxes. My skin is so happy after applying it that I don’t need much coverage, but I can’t leave the house without a lick of mascara and a swipe of blush. Lisa Eldridge’s Kitten Lash gives lifted and light lashes with zero clumps in sight, and the Rare Beauty blush has a bit of a IYKYK reputation when it comes to just how pigmented it is. To wash them off at the end of the day, Byoma’s cleanser rivals a pricey balm  – the scent is delicious and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and happy.

Now that it’s ‘legs-out season’, I’m upping my bodycare game. I love a scrub, but I’m fussy about texture. My current favourite is by This Works – the salt crystals are pleasingly large and abrasive (in the best way) so you can really feel them working their magic and sloughing away the dead cells. I’m after the same glow and smoothness on my face, but I prefer a liquid formula. Powered by saccharomyces ferment, this one by The Ordinary is so effective, and yet also ultra-gentle. As far as make-up goes, I’m quite low-maintenance day-to-day, but I can’t be without some form of glow-booster. This Vieve liquid illuminator is gorgeous, the shimmer is fine and sophisticated rather than chunky, and it just gives your skin that coveted lit-from-without finish. On my lips, Ilia’s crayon is my grab-and-go option. I love a soft, blurred finish and this I can apply without even looking in a mirror. Plus, the shade-range is so flattering.

Rosemary oil doesn’t get nearly enough love – it’s a non-negotiable ingredient in my hair routine, especially during the summer when I sometimes experience scalp irritation. This Nécessaire shampoo is what I reach for after a long, humid day, the formula is so soothing and it leaves both my hair and scalp feeling balanced and healthy. Then for deep hydration, this Sol de Janeiro conditioner is seriously underrated. Formulated with biomimetic peptides and cupuaçu butter, it restores shine without weighing down my hair unlike some other leave-ins. Make-up-wise, I’m pretty much always faithful to my Kosas pencil – it allows me to be super precise when I’m filling in my brows. Finally, Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir lives on my desk. It’s the best afternoon pick-me-up, guaranteed to make my skin feel fresh and energised again.
