Eyeshade Crème, £24 | Emolyne Cosmetics

These crème shadows are so flattering and easy to wear. Available in five suits-all tones, they can be built up for more intensity – or just sweep a small amount across lids for a light wash of colour. The shimmer levels are ideal – think subtle and eye-catching with the kind of brightening effect we love. They are cream based but dry down to a powdery finish, so they never budge or settle into creases. We love ‘Champagne Rose’ – a beautiful taupe that gives great definition.

Skin Mimetic Microsuede Blush, $28 | MAKE Beauty

MAKE Beauty is back in the UK and we can’t get enough of this blush. Merging the benefits of a velvety cream with a matte finish, it provides just enough glow without disappearing by 4pm. It has a smooth texture like a whipped mousse that glides across cheeks and builds to the perfect level of colour. Added ceramides keep skin hydrated, too. From warm bronze to coral and bright pink, there’s something for everyone.

Vast Lash Mascara, £32 | Victoria Beckham Beauty

Designed with fullness and volume in mind, Victoria Beckham's latest mascara is different to her Future Lash formula. Firstly, the brush is chunky with a curved wand that allows you to hug your lashline and get right down to the root to thicken and lengthen lashes with just one coat. The wand is flexible too, picking up even the tiniest of lashes for a full, fluttery effect. As for the mascara itself it stays wet for a while, allowing you to build upon it and layer up for more intensity. That said, when it dries, it dries fast and doesn't budge – even in the most humid and sweaty environments.

Available from 14th August on VictoriaBeckhamBeauty.com

Pore·remedy™ Smoothing Primer, £31 | Dr.Jart+

Oily skin is no match for this mattifying primer. With a thin, serum-like consistency, it absorbs fast and immediately smooths the appearance of your skin. It’s also full of hydrating ingredients, including panthenol and fruit oils to keep your skin healthy and soft. You’ll love how make-up glides on over this and that the formula doesn’t contain silicones which often cause make-up to pill.

Available at BeautyBay.com

Veil Hydrating Skin Tint, £49 | Hourglass

If you’re after the kind of coverage that blurs redness and uneven tone without feeling heavy or cakey, this is the new skin tint to know. It’s full of hydrating ingredients to give your skin a healthy dose of moisture and instant glow. As for the coverage, expect it to be thin, sheer and buildable – just enough to smooth and perfect your complexion. And a little goes a long way – just one or two pumps will suffice.

Duxbury Brow Sculpting Wax & Brush Duo, £13 | Morphe x Meredith

An affordable alternative to other brow gels on the market, this latest drop from Morphe is a must-try. Thanks to the sturdy spoolie, you can run the formula through your brow hairs to quickly groom them into place, giving you the lacquered, laminated effect that’s so on trend. It isn’t sticky either and it holds brows in place all day, keeping wayward, spiky hairs in place. Follow up with a tinted brow gel or pencil if you want to fill in any sparse gaps.

Forest, Rook & Undergrowth Eau De Parfum, £109 | Rook Perfumes

ROOK is the niche perfume brand to have on your radar. Its fragrances take months – sometimes years – to develop, and nothing is bottled until founder Nadeem Crowe is convinced it’s different to anything else on the market. Combining natural essential oils with aromatic chemicals, expect woody, warm scents that are balanced with just a hint of sweetness. They are all unisex and great for those who prefer a smokier scent to anything floral. Our go-to is ‘Undergrowth’ – an earthy, fresh and green blend of soil, mint, grass and patchouli. A must-try if you like Diptyque’s cult Philosykos.

Summer 23, £79 | Ffern

Small-batch British perfumer Ffern has done it again with another beautiful scent. Summer 23 features peach-like notes of osmanthus blossom, while warming nutmeg, vetiver, cedar and rose combine for a nutty, milky combination we can’t get enough of. There’s still time to snap this one up before you have to join the waitlist for its next drop on the autumn equinox.

Charlotte’s Magic Body Cream, £49 | Charlotte Tilbury

Like all of Charlotte Tilbury’s products, this new Body Cream does a bit of everything. Full of hyaluronic acid, soothing aloe vera and brightening vitamins C and E, it offers immediate hydration, giving skin a smoother, suppler appearance within a week’s use. It also benefits from caffeine which helps to minimise uneven skin tone and bumps. Our favourite thing about this cream, however, is the flattering shine and non-greasy glow it lends limbs – ideal for summer. Apply it to damp skin for maximum absorption and the speediest results.

Luna™ 4 Body T-Sonic™ Massaging Body Brush, £139 | Foreo

If dry body brushing is too much effort for you, try this massaging tool from FOREO. With zero effort required, simply switch it on and run it over your skin to let the pulses from the device gently pummel your limbs to boost circulation and blood flow. It works well to get rid of dull, dry skin cells without being too abrasive. Because it’s waterproof, you can also leave it in your shower and use it as and when you need. Plus, it’s more hygienic than dry brushes as bacteria won’t build up on the silicone material.

Available at Selfridges.com

Slather Body Cream, £23.66 | Topicals

This new serum is worth the hype. Full of exfoliating AHAs, it buffs away at dirt and dry skin, while squalane keeps moisture levels topped up. You’ll see a difference immediately – think smoother skin that’s more even in tone. Ideal for treating issues like keratosis pilaris – chicken skin – it works hard to get rid of stubborn, textured spots, while reducing inflammation. We love the milky consistency, too.

Available at MyTopicals.com

Fab Fast Peeling Mist, £17 | STARSKIN

If you’re looking to transform your feet fast this summer, this mist is worth the investment. It uses exfoliating ingredients like salicylic and glycolic acid to dissolve dead or hard skin at speed. Spray liberally – at least three times – and let it settle for 30 seconds or so before using a buffing tool over the top. From there, you’ll see dead skin and calluses break down quickly, leaving you with smoother, softer feet. It’s great on cracked heels.

Classic Spray Broad SPF50, £18 | Vacation

If you’re looking for high SPF protection with a lightweight, non-sticky textures, this continuous spray lets cover your whole body at once. Completely transparent, it goes on quick and settles down fast, so you never have to spend time massaging it in. The scent is addictive, too.

Molecular Repair Hair Oil, £65 | K18 Hair

K18 is expanding its coveted line-up with this nourishing, lightweight oil. Full of peptides, avocado, squalane and sunflower oil, it hydrates dry strands while strengthening them to prevent future breakage. Just a small amount run through damp, towel-dried hair is enough to boost shine and smoothness. It’s also lightweight enough to be used when hair is dry.

Retinol + HPR Ceramide Rapid Skin-Renewing Water Cream, £75 | Elizabeth Arden

Designed for retinol newbies, this water cream from Elizabeth Arden is potent but never irritating. It works hard to strengthen skin and, in turn, minimise wrinkles and uneven tone, while peptides, ceramides and hyaluronic acid cushion any harsh effects and seal in lasting moisture. Within just a few uses you can expect skin to have better bounce and glow, while the watery texture is so satisfying to apply. The stats are impressive: 99% of testers noted firmer, younger-looking skin after two weeks of use.
