The Best New Beauty At Aldi

The Best New Beauty At Aldi

There’s a reason Aldi’s beauty range sells out time and again: its ever-expanding line-up contains a host of products that are a decent match for some beloved – and more expensive – big-name counterparts. From eyeshadow palettes to K-Beauty-inspired skincare, here are some of our favourite finds…

All products on this page have been selected by our editorial team, however we may make commission on some products.

Lacura Beauty Advent Calendar, £54.99

If you’re still looking for an advent beauty advent calendar at an affordable price point, this fits the bill. Featuring 24 Lacura products, each door contains one of Aldi’s bestselling products or new launches, including the rose micellar water, two candles, a vitamin C serum, an avocado eye cream and a nourishing cleansing balm. You’ll also find tan drops, clear brow gel and make-up setting spray. We love the sleek box it comes in – a great last-minute gift if you’re in a pinch.Available here

The Ebony Rose Gift Set, £14.99

Aldi’s Ebony Rose collection was one of Lacura’s bestsellers last year, so we were excited to hear its two hero products are now available as part of a gift set. Including a face mask, face cream and a new eye cream, each set contains black rose extract to ease fatigue and help brighten the skin. Use all three together or combine them with the rest of your skincare when you need an extra hit of moisture.

Lacura Show Up Highlighter, £4.99

This highlighter comes in a handy box with a small brush for easy application. A warm golden bronze tone, it has a slight shimmer without being too glittery, so it’s subtle enough to use on the cheekbones, under the brow arch, and down the bridge of the nose. It only comes in one shade, so use it underneath your foundation to add a dewy glow.

Lacura Caviar Gift Set, £12.99

Inspired by La Prairie’s ultra-luxury skincare, this Caviar gift set contains three anti-ageing skincare products, all of which contain caviar extract and snow algae to minimise the appearance of fine lines and reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. The day cream comes with SPF 15 – although we suggest following up with your own SPF for greater protection – while the night cream has a slightly richer texture that sinks in beautifully overnight. The set also contains a sheet mask full of algae extract to leave skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Lacura Pevival Velvet Eye Shadow Palette, £5.99

Aldi are releasing three eyeshadow palettes for the party season. Our favourite is the Pevival palette, which contains 14 brown, gold and bronze shades. Whether you use on its own or mix a few colours for a traditional smokey eye, the colours have good pigment and blend together nicely. These are a great dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes – start with the matte colours, before using your finger to apply the glittery tones on top.

Lacura Makeup Artist Brush Set, £4.99

Inspired by Real Techniques, this brush set contains four tools to help you perfect your make-up. Each set comes with a fluffy blusher brush, a fanned crease-free brush for applying setting powder or bronzer, two eyeshadow brushes, and a make-up sponge. The bristles are soft without being flimsy, while the sponge fits perfectly around the eye area – ideal for applying creamy concealers.

Lacura Hair Mask Gift Set, £9.99

Similar to Coco & Eve’s hair mask, Aldi’s Lacura version now comes as part of a gift set with a microfibre wrap-around towel and a detangling hairbrush. The mask itself contains coconut oil, shea butter and fig water to moisturise hair and leave it feeling smooth and silky – just leave it to work its magic for a few hours or overnight. Ideal for dry hair or those with curly or textured hair types, brush through a generous amount to detangle your strands, then pop a shower cap on top to lock in the moisture before rinsing out.

Lacura K-Beauty Gift Set, £14.99

Glow Recipe fans, this one’s for you. Known for its gentle formulas packed with fruit extracts, the cult South Korean beauty brand has inspired this gift set. The Watermelon Gel Moisturiser  contains ceramides and watermelon extract to hydrate skin, while the H20 Mask helps soothe and nourish problem areas overnight. The set also contains an Avocado Retinol Eye Cream, plus a Pineapple Bright Serum, with vitamin C and pineapple extract to help tackle dry, dull complexions.

Lacura Power For Women, £4.99

Fans of Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million will love this fragrance. At £4.99 it’s one of the most affordable options on this list, but we were impressed with its staying power. With notes of vanilla, orange blossom and white flowers, it’s heady enough to wear on its own without being overpowering. The sleek bottle won’t look out of place on your bathroom shelf.

Lacura Mint & Bergamot Lotion, £2.49

Inspired by Neal’s Yard hand care, Lacura’s Mint & Bergamot Lotion is simple, yet refreshing. Mint extract leaves hands feeling clean, while bergamot adds a citrusy flavour. Rich in added oils, it feels incredibly soft on the skin, and won’t leave hands dry or irritated. There’s also a matching hand wash.

Lacura Dream Big Bronzer

If you prefer a matte bronzer to creamy or glittery types, it’s worth knowing this product has been inspired by Benefit’s cult Hoola Bronzer, complete with a square-shaped brush that fits snugly inside the bronzer box. Apply the suits-all shade for an all-over warm glow or build it up on darker skin tones. The formula doesn’t feel heavy or cakey, but we do suggest you use your own make-up brush for seamless application.Available here
