Eau de Toilettes, £29 | & Other Stories

& Other Stories’ new eau de toilettes don’t just look good, they each have a potent scent that belies their high-street price tag. ‘Poem A Day’ is ideal for those who love a fresh floral, while ‘Moon’ is best for those who like musky, woody fragrances with a bit more depth. If you tend to wear unisex scents, you’ll enjoy ‘The Lost Chapter’. With spices, as well as notes of sandalwood, papyrus and tonka bean, it’s a little bit sultry and perfect for this time of year.

Sea Moss Perfume, £115 | Sunspel

Think of the British coastline on a windy day and that’s exactly what Sunspel has captured in its lastest fragrance, ‘Sea Moss’. It’s salty, fresh and earthy, with a green quality that we can’t get enough off. Though it’s not an eau de parfum, it lasts surprisingly well on the skin – you’ll still be noticing this the following day.

Deeper Love Intense Treatment Mask, From £22 | Hair By Sam McKnight

If there’s anyone who knows how to take care of hair, it’s A-list stylist Sam McKnight, so we were intrigued by his new treatment mask – which we can now say lives up to the rave reviews. Full of nourishing ingredients like shea butter and seed oils, it softens dry strands to bring them back from the brink. Added plant keratin helps with regrowth too, and seals the cuticle for smoother, shinier-looking hair. You can apply it to wet hair and leave for five minutes, but we like to leave on for as long as possible on dry hair before rinsing with shampoo and conditioner.

The Blush Stick, £32 | La Bouche Rouge Paris

Creamy, smooth and easy to apply, this blush stick has such a nice texture. The colour range is impressive, too – soft and flattering, each one gives the complexion a romantic flush that can be layered up for a rosier glow. Use it on the lips, cheeks and lids – scribble it on and blend it out with your fingers for best results. The chic red case is a bonus.

Mirror-Effect Gel Gloss, £29 | Guerlain

Created by French make-up artist Violette for Guerlain, this multipurpose gloss will help you get that wet-look glow. Never sticky or greasy, just a small amount instantly lifts and brightens your face. We love it tapped onto cheekbones or on top of any eyeshadow – you’ll find it enhances the colour of any powders. Similarly, it works well with a smattering of glitter on your lids and catches the light beautifully. A make-up bag essential.

Volume Mascara & Bold Lash Primer, £23 | Honest Beauty

Housing both a primer and mascara, this duo from Honest Beauty is worth the money. The primer uses fibres to bulk up lashes before they’re layered with the volume-enhancing formula. The result? Longer, inkier, jet-black lashes that really open up the eyes. You only need a few coats to see a difference – even the stubbiest, fairest lashes will benefit. Added ingredients like castor oil mean lashes get an extra dose of nourishment, so they never dry out or go brittle. One of our favourite mascaras of 2022.

Pillow Talk Crystal Dimension Eyeliner, £24 | Charlotte Tilbury

Fancy mixing up your party eye make-up? This metallic pink eyeliner is surprisingly flattering. Designed to enhance all eye colours, it adds a little something extra, without looking too OTT. Wear a flick at the outer edges or take it all the way along your lids for maximum impact. Like all of Charlotte Tilbury’s products, it’s easy to apply and once it sets, it won’t budge – no matter how long you stay out for.

Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine, £10 | Pat McGrath

These balmy lipsticks are perfect for those wanting a hit of moisture but strong pigment. Easy to blend and build, they work well on the cheeks and lids. We love ‘Electric Lotus’ – a rich, vivid red with orange undertones that suits all complexions. Softening emollients keep the added hydration sealed in, while the glossy, high-shine finish lasts for hours.

Creator Gel, £25 | The Browery

The Browery is causing a real buzz in the beauty world. Founded by brow experts and sisters Amira and Rada, the product range is concise but contains everything you need to sculpt and shape your brows. A standout is this versatile gel. Designed to deliver a bushy effect that lasts, it’s dual-ended – one side is clear to shape and define, and the other is a brow glue which uses fibres to mimic the appearance of better density and fullness. Meanwhile, added cucumber, aloe vera and tripeptides nourish and hydrate for better regrowth over time.

The All Rounder Hairbrush, £120 | La Bonne Brosse

Hairbrushes don’t get much slicker than this. Marrying form and function, it’s designed to massage your scalp and increase blood flow, all while soothing it with the soft fibres. Plus, it never snags or pulls from the root – it gives you a smooth, seamless glide every time, gently detangling knots and minimising breakage. At £120, it’s an investment, but worth it if you’re serious about good haircare. Plus, it’ll last a lifetime.

Hot Air Styler, £99.99 | Revolution Haircare

This is an incredible dupe for Dyson’s Airwrap – which is why it’s also hard to get hold of. With an interchangeable vent, wrap and straight brush dryer, you can style, curl and smooth your strands depending on the look you want to create. It’s easy to use and has to be one of the best budget stylers we’ve tried in a long time – especially if you’re looking to replicate a salon-style blow-dry. Another bonus is its self-cleaning function – it has an air inlet that automatically cleans the inner filter so you don’t have to worry about it becoming congested or too hot.

Make-Up Brush Cleaner With Dip Tray, £24.50 | ISOCLEAN

Looking to give your brushes a makeover? This clever cleaning kit is a dream. You just pour a little of the liquid into the dip tray and swirl your tools inside. Immediately, the antibacterial formula breaks down dirt that’s clinging to the fibres of your brush, leaving them looking as good as new – not to mention soft and perfectly shaped.

Zinc T-Bar Facial Massager, £8 | Brushworks

Small and compact, this is the perfect stocking filler for anyone looking to tone and depuff their skin. Made from stainless steel, it feels cold as you move it around your face, so it automatically takes down redness and inflammation – all before you start using the curved head to release muscle tension. Sweep this around your face using a firm pressure, always working up and outwards. Not only does it feel amazing, you’ll see a slight lift in your complexion and better skin suppleness – even if the results are only temporary, it’s so worth it.

Idralia Exfoliating Cream, £50 | Santa Maria Novella

Santa Maria Novella is the world’s oldest apothecary – it started life in Florence in 1221. Today, the brand has retained its old-school, pharmacy aesthetic, matching it to luxurious formulas that will elevate any routine. Recently, it’s expanded its product line-up, and we’re big fans of this Exfoliating Cream. Designed for the face, you can also use it on the body, too. Made with fruit oils and glycerine, it’s so hydrating, while citric acid and soft granules work to gently slough away dead skin cells. The result is softer skin with fewer bumps and more even tone. An investment, but used wisely, you’ll find this lasts for months.

Available at Smnovella.com

Dewy Glow Jelly Cream, £21 | Innisfree

We love a jelly cream and this is our latest favourite. Bouncy and light, it’s satisfying to apply and immediately coats the skin in moisture. Ingredients like niacinamide brighten and keep redness at bay, while sugar beet seals in hydration. Our favourite part is the sheen it leaves behind. The minute it’s on, you’ll see your complexion looks glowier and bouncier. Perfect before make-up.

Cheat Mask, From £20 | Face Gym

For an instant skin overhaul, you can’t beat this Cheat Mask. One of the brand’s bestselling products, by morning you’ll notice your complexion has a healthier-looking glow. It’s strong – with ingredients like lactic and succinic acid – so you’ll only need to use it a couple of times a week. If you suffer with sensitives, don’t worry – prebiotics cushion any inflammation and keep breakouts at bay, while centella asiatica acts like a shot of water for thirsty skin types.

Herbal Comfort Soak, £24 | CO Bigelow

If you like herbal, medicinal scents – think olbas oil, only softer – you’ll love this bath and shower soak. Splash a little onto your body or pour it into running water. The scent – a potent blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, ginger and echinacea – is designed to clear your senses but it’s also seriously comforting. Trust us when we say this offers immediate headspace.
