IT Cosmetics CC+ Original Cream SPF 50, £32.50

BEST FOR: Full coverage, minus the cake-y effect

Offering major sun protection with SPF 50, this one covers everything from scarring to pigmentation and rosacea. Infused with collagen, peptides, niacin and hyaluronic acid, it works wonders on mature skins to leave them looking smooth, supple and plump. With in-store testing stations and sampling a thing of the past (for now, at least), we love the shade finder on the brand’s website, too. With options including a live camera, photo upload and video consultation, finding the right colour for you just got a whole lot easier.

Forget any associations of SPF 50 formulas leaving behind a chalky residue, this has a silky texture that’s so lightweight, you might forget you’re wearing sun protection. The broad-spectrum SPF protects from UVA (aging rays) and UVB (burning rays), infrared, thermal damage, free-radicals and even environmental aggressors, making it an absolute essential for city dwellers.
