Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer, £279 | Dyson

I’ve had my Dyson for seven or eight years now and it’s still going strong. I wash my hair daily – so the cost per use is there. I know there are other brilliant options out there but when I travel or use a friend’s hair dryer nothing works as quickly or as well. It’s so worth the investment.

The Wide Iron, £229 | Cloud Nine

I have a lot of hair, so if I want it poker-straight, it can actually take a while to get it looking perfect. I'm always testing something new but when I'm in a rush, a straightener with wider plates comes in really handy, helping to speed up the whole process from start to finish.

Anti Frizz Ionic Slim Hot Brush, £150 | Clara

While I’ve long been a Dyson devotee, I recently discovered Clara Tools and its heat brush has quickly earned a spot in my routine. The clever three-in-one styler handles everything from bouncy blow-dries to quick touch-ups and soft curls, all while smoothing and de-frizzing. I also love the design and considering everything it can do, the price point is reasonable. My hair has never looked smoother.

The Multi-Tasker, £195 | Hershesons

I have absolutely no natural talent when it comes to styling my own hair, so I rely on tools that are completely foolproof. If something requires real technique, I’m already defeated. That’s why I love The Multi-Tasker. It’s one multi-use tool that can give you glossy blow-outs or soft waves with a level of heat that actually makes the style last.

Aire 360 Ceramic Air Styler Blowout Kit, £250 | T3

I love this tool because it gives me that smooth, bouncy blow-dry finish without the need to juggle a brush and dryer. It’s quick and easy to use – and compared to similar tools, it delivers the same glossy, polished result at a much more affordable price.

FlexStyle 4-In-1 Air Styler & Hair Dryer, £269.99 | Shark Beauty

I love this Shark tool because it gives me a salon-worthy blow dry at home in minutes, with glossy volume and soft waves that actually last for an entire night out.

Airwrap i.d Amber Silk for Straight Wavy, £479.99 | Dyson

I’ve only been using The Dyson Airwrap for a few months but the smoothing brush attachment has changed my life. I can blow dry my (type 3B curly) hair from wet to pretty sleek in just ten minutes. Sometimes on day three or four after wash day, I go back in with the round, volumizing brush attachment to add a bit of lift.

Community Pick

Powerlight 385 Hair Dryer, £159.99 | Parlux

Some people agreed that the Dyson was a winner but another pick (by Alice C) was Parlux: “This is a mega hairdryer and you can buy a lightweight version that doesn’t scrimp on power. I guess it depends what sort of hair you have but I have long hair and wouldn't be without it.
