Invisiveil Setting Spray, £28 | Vieve

Setting sprays can be a bit hit-and-miss, but this new from Vieve is exactly what you’d hope for – non-sticky but still glow-y, hydrating and proven to prolong the wear of make-up. Nourishing ingredients like niacinamide and cell pulse mean you don’t get that tight feeling on your skin, while the alcohol-free formula means it’s never irritating and it’s suitable for all skin types. Plus, the scent is so uplifting.

Available at Vieve.co.uk

Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30, £32 | Fenty Skin

If you’re in the market for an SPF-based skin tint, try Fenty’s latest launch. It has the perfect amount of coverage, concealing uneven tone while still allowing for a dewy, bouncy finish. Mineral-based, it’s also non-comedogenic, so it never clogs up your pores, so you don’t have to worry about it exacerbating oiliness. Instead, hyaluronic acid, aloe and antioxidants combine to keep skin smooth, supple and quenched.

Available at Boots.com

Sweet Talk Lip Oil, £30.27 | Monica Blunder

Hydration comes first with these new lip oils. Containing fruit extracts, vitamin E and brown algae oil, they soften, smooth and plump with a slick – but non-sticky – texture we love. As for the colours, expect a sheer, glossy wash that gradually fades into a soft stain. There are six suits-all tints available, but ‘Apfel’ – a summer red – is our favourite. Don’t be put off by the intensity, it’s sheer, buildable and pairs nicely with a tan.

Diorshow 24H Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner, £24 | Dior

From mint green to metallic golds and sophisticated navies, these eyeliners are our favourite way to play with colour this summer. Creamy and easy to work with, they move seamlessly over the lids, no tugging required. Whether you buff them out or use them to create delicate flicks, you’ll find they’re the perfect accessory to any warm-weather make-up look.

Available at Boots.com

The Kissu Lip Scrub, £29 | Tatcha

Dry, tight and sore lips are no match for this gentle scrub. Containing peach seeds, konjac and sugar, just a tiny amount is enough to buff away dead skin cells in the most satisfying way. Added oils then seal in moisture, so you’re left with a smooth surface that’s primed for any lipstick or balms.

Available at Tatcha.co.uk

Lip Line, £18 | Glossier

Glossier's new lip liners have a smooth, cream texture that defines the outer edges, but also colours the entire lip. The pigment goes a long way and it's so easy to blend out, build up or keep sheer. Available in eight different shades, there's soft nudes warm browns for subtle enhancement, with each being nippled-matched for a true-colour dry down. You'll find they extend the life of any lipstick you wear on top, too.

Available at Glossier.com

Infuse Eau de Parfum, £160 | AKRO

Think of a green, herbal tea mixed with fresh bergamot and a musky dry down – and that’s exactly what you have in Akro’s new Infuse scent. Warming, comforting and androgynous in the dry down, it’s a confident fragrance that makes a statement. We love this for the evening but it’s fresh enough for daytime, too.

Available at Harrods.com

Bronze Goddess Nuit Eau de Parfum, £70 | Estée Lauder

With notes of salted coconut, ylang ylang and bergamot essence, this popular scent is reimagined every year and always signifies the start of summer. A true crowd-pleaser, it’s bright with an oily, suntan quality we can’t get enough of. A different take on traditional, summer floral scents, it lasts for hours and will always earn you compliments.

Available at EstéeLauder.com

Discotheque Les Caves Du Roy Candle

We’re big fans of Discotheque’s candles and now, it’s launched a special summer scent in collaboration with Saint-Tropez’s famous Byblos Hotel. Designed to capture the essence of nightlife in the French Riviera, it has a musky, incense scent to it that’s unlike anything we’ve burned before. But it’s not overpowering – orange rind, sea salt, lemon and clementine balance out the deeper notes to keep things on the right side of breezy. You’ll want to burn this all summer long.

01 Body Lotion, £48 | Escentric Molecule

Fans of Escentric Molecule and its cult scents will be pleased to see it’s now dropped bodycare – specifically a lotion and a wash to match each of its fragrances. We will always be ‘01’ fans – for us, nothing rivals the warm, woody scent – and can’t get enough of this new lotion which uses hyaluronic acid, shea butter, squalane and castor oil to visibly soften dry, scaly areas of skin, while softly scenting it too. Mixed with the wash and fragrance on top, you’ll find it lasts for hours on your skin. A real treat and a great gift, too.

Available at Escentric.com

Self-Tan Mousse, £25 | Caribe

The founders of new self-tan brand Caribe have said they want it to be the Fenty Beauty of the tanning industry. A first-of-its-kind self-tan line, it’s made for people of colour and the concise line-up consists of two mousses and a tan mitt. Trialled and tested by some of the SheerLuxe team, they were impressed by the streak-free finish and natural-looking colour. Plus, it’s more affordable than some tan brands on the market, too.

Available at Caribé.uk

Dry Heat Protection Spray, £42 | Oribe

Faff-free, this new heat protector can be applied to dry hair for immediate protection against temperatures up to 232°C. Just like Oribe’s cult texturizing spray, this is lightweight, easy to brush out and it gives hair a soft, weightless feel. Added plant-based collagen, caffeine and macadamia oils also keep hair nourished, sealing in an invisible layer of moisture. A true multi- tasker, we love that it doesn’t sizzle or make any noise when you run heat tools over it.

Available at SpaceNK.com

Nurture Intense Hydration Mask, £29 | JVN Hair

Whether you’re looking to boost hair’s hydration, minimise the appearance of split ends or reduce frizz, this velvety mask does it all. There’s keratris – a vegan form of keratin – and hemisqualane in there, which work together to strengthen hair fibres and make them suppler. You’ll also find regular use won’t seal split cuticles – instead, it will smooth them, giving your hair a glossier look overall. For those who struggle with knots, this will also improve manageability when styling.

SuperSerum Hydrating Mist, £38 | RMS

Niacinamide and peptides come together in this quenching mist to reduce redness, boost hydration and alleviate feelings of tightness. But what we really love is the luminous glow this offers skin. That’s all thanks to brightening kakadu plum seed oil and the sheen-y dry down that makes your complexion look healthy and fresh. It works well to hit reset on make-up too, although when you want the bare minimum on your face, this is the product to reach for.

Purifying Hydrating Clay Cleanser, £15 | Coats

If you’re looking to purge your skin a little, this new clay cleanser from affordable brand [coat]s should be on your radar. Clinically proven to prevent breakouts, it also contains glcyerin and sodium gluconate to flood skin with moisture. Normally, purifying cleansers can leave skin feeling dry and tight – but this is the opposite. You’ll also find glycolic and salicylic acid in there, both of which work hard to keep cell turnover ticking for smoother-looking skin over time.

Available at Boots.com

Alpha Beta 2% Bha Liquid Solution, £38 | Dr Dennis Gross

Speaking of cell turnover, this new, gentle liquid peel from Dr Dennis Gross is one of the best we’ve tried recently. A blend of salicylic, lactic, phytic and azelaic acid dissolves dirt and build-up in a single swipe. Used regularly, you’ll also find it helps to diminish irregularities in the skin – think topical pigmentation and scarring. Two to three times a week is enough to see results.

Available at CultBeauty.co.uk

Calming Crème, £107 | Tata Harper

This is an investment, but we can guarantee it’s worth the splurge. One of the most comforting creams we’ve ever tried, it contains oat seed oils, microalgae and ceramides to get down deep into your skin’s barrier, plumping it from the inside out. It’s particularly great for those who suffer with sensitivities – not only is it gentle, we’ve found it all but eliminates any inflammation and takes down redness at speed. A godsend for stressed out skin.

Available at CultBeauty.co.uk

Facemassage & Cleansing Tool, £119 | Demarés

There are endless gua sha devices these days, but not all are created equal. This one from Demares used different light frequencies – including blue, red and green light – to calm inflammation, prevent bacteria build and stimulate the skin to produce new collagen. The warmth from the device also boosts blood flow for a tighter, tauter appearance. It takes regular use, but you will notice your features become more defined over time.

Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer, £399.99 | Dyson

Dyson is forever innovating and its latest Nural launch might be the best yet. Using scalp-focused sensor technology, an invisible infrared beam ensures the dryer never gets too hot near your scalp. In fact, it self-adjusts the temperature depending on its distance to your scalp, in turn minimising damage. The idea is the healthier your scalp, the healthier, shinier and stronger your hair is overall. There are also two clever attachments – the nural, which glides over hair for a sleek, glossy finish and a concentrator nozzle for general drying. Meanwhile, a curls diffuser has reversible airflow and a wide-tooth comb stretches and lengthens hair. We love that the in-built tech also pauses airflow when you put the dryer down, shutting off energy in between styling. A worthy investment if you’re keen to take hair styling to the next level.

List Hydrocolloid Invisible Pimple Patches, £9 | The Inkey List

If you’ve previously thought of pimple patches as a fad, think again. These new ones from The Inkey List are some of the only ones to be clinically proven to visibly reduce breakouts – and that’s within four hours of use. Transparent and invisible to the naked eye, they sit discreetly over breakouts while a blend of anti-bacterial hydrocolloid, salicylic acid and ectoin get to work extracting gunk from your skin – you actually see this when you peel the sticker off. The addition of ectoin is clever, too – cushioning any harsh effects from the salicylic acid, it boosts hydration and reduces redness instantly.
