“I actually didn’t realise how many K-beauty products I have in my everyday rotation until I really looked. The Dr.Jart+  Ceramidin Cream is one I’ve loved for years and keep coming back to: the texture is like nothing else – rich, almost balmy but not greasy at all – and you actually feel it sitting on your skin, nourishing and protecting the barrier. I first got into the Laneige  Lip Mask years ago on a trip to New York (before it was available here) and have actually only just finished my second pot. A tiny amount goes a long way to hydrate and soften the lips. The Then I Met You  Cleansing Balm is newer to me but I love it already. I like that it’s thick enough but still melts quickly in your hands – my skin feels so bouncy and balanced after using it. The TirTir  Cushion Foundation is my current obsession. I’ve been harping on about it to anyone who will listen. I first used it a month ago and every day since. It applies so smoothly, gives me that perfect medium level of coverage and lasts an impressively long time. I have to try other foundations as part of my job but I can’t currently imagine not coming back to this.”

“I don’t go far without my Laneige Lip Mask, and when I discovered the tube version, my obsession only grew. It’s one of the only balms that actually keeps my lips feeling and looking their best. Elsewhere, I’ve been sceptical about skin tints and CC creams, but this Erborian one has fully converted me. It nails that ‘no-make-up make-up’ look while actually covering imperfections, too. Also, the Medicube hype is real and this gel cream works wonders on my dry skin. Finally, few masks compete with Biodance’s – I first became hooked on this thanks to TikTok and it really does feel as satisfying as it looks.”

“Everyone loves Beauty Of Joseon’s SPFs – and for good reason. Featherlight, hydrating and seamless under make-up, the Aqua-Fresh version is brilliant all year round. When you spot it on offer, stock up. Another rightful crowd-pleaser is Laneige. The Cinnamon Sugar Lip Serum is pretty much a permanent fixture in my pocket but I also can’t get enough of the Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask. When my skin is visibly tired and dehydrated, this is one of the masks I reach for before a special event. It has the power to smooth fine lines and helps my base make-up appear dewier and less flat.

“Any make-up artist will tell you that the key to great skin is nailing the cleansing stage. If you don’t properly remove all the grime of the day, dead cells will build up and you’ll get unwanted texture. In the evening, I swear by an oil, balm or cream for my first cleanse, and one excellent option is the Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil by SKIN1004.  Silky and gentle, this easily dissolves make-up, SPF and dirt and leaves my skin feeling nourished and balanced. Finally, an unexpected new discovery for me is the Mediheal  Collagen Ampoule Pads. Toner pads are a huge category in the K-beauty space and these are powered by a hardworking trio of ceramides, collagen and peptides, designed to boost your skin’s elasticity and create a bouncy-looking effect. Use as a targeted mini sheet mask or simply swipe and go. Thank me later.”
