THE HYPE
Slimmer brows look great on 90s supermodels – as does almost anything – but for a flattering, everyday look, you can’t beat a soft, brushed-up effect.
For many, nailing that fluffy look means getting regular brow lamination – a semi-permanent treatment that involves chemically restructuring the hair’s bonds into a lifted shape. Or at least it did, before ByEllie’s TikTok-approved Brow Shape hit the market.

THE FORMULA
Created with VP/VA copolymer, cocoyl glutamic acid and tocopherol (vitamin E), Brow Shape is designed to strengthen and nourish brow hairs, while also locking them in place with a glue-like hold. The gel itself is clear, and even when it dries down, it’s invisible – meaning it can be used on all hair colours. Swerving a common complaint of other brow gels, it also leaves no unsightly white cast behind. The waxy texture doesn’t feel crunchy either, to the point where you could quite easily pencil in any gaps over the top of the product.

THE BEST WAY TO USE IT
The great thing about Brow Shape is that it’s intuitive to use. Simply dip the spoolie into the gel and coat the hairs with the product. Once the brows are covered you can start to brush them upwards and create your desired shape, whether that’s a soft, ‘Clean Girl’ look, or a more defined, laminated effect using a brow comb.
