"Blushers are one of the make-up products that I'm the least loyal to – there are just so many great formulas out there. I'm also not loyal to a single format. I still love a powder blush, especially the ones by Saie and Guerlain, which are super finely milled, seamless and not drying at all. One common denominator is that none of my favourites have a shimmery finish – personally, I think it can make my pores look more pronounced. Tom Ford's new blush is very matte, but creamy and easily blended out to a soft-focus finish. For something a little glowier, Estée Lauder's has a dewier pay-off, perfect if you want a fresher look."

There’s a new wave of blushers I can’t get enough of right now. Armani’s Luminous Silk Cheek Tint is perfect for that barely-there glow while YSL Beauty’s Make Me Blush gives the perfect soft-focus flush. Bobbi Brown’s Multi-Stick is what I use when I want something foolproof on the go. For a fresher finish, I’ve also been reaching for the Fenty Shake ‘N’ Play – it melts into skin and gives you that just-pinched, lit-from-within loo

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush, £46 | Chanel

“You’d never catch me skipping blush. It’s the product in my make-up bag that does the heaviest lifting in terms of making me look healthier and more well-rested. Nine times out of ten, I’m reaching for a cream and the one I’m wearing on repeat at the moment is by Prada. The velvety-matte, slightly blurred finish is so pretty, and I love how easy it is to apply; simply melt it into the skin using the warmth of your fingertips. Then there’s the Jones Road one – the stick format is so handy for on the go and the sheeny finish breathes life back into dull skin. ‘Chic’ – a wearable rosy pink – is my favourite. That said, there are some great liquid formulas out there. Part of Chanel’s Les Beiges collection, ‘Sorbet’ looks quite bold at first but when you blend it out, it has a much softer, more subtle vibrance. It also has a really fresh, lightweight feel. For an understated glow, Beauty Pie’s new liquid is just the ticket. The colour pay-off is excellent, it lasts well and the shimmer is pleasingly understated.”
