This Viral Blush Makes You Look Instantly Awake

The Hype

Nothing breathes life back into the face quite like cream blush – and Prada Touch does exactly that. Since launching earlier this year, the brand’s first-ever blush has won over beauty fans with its creamy, melts-like-a-dream texture and playful packaging, including Zendaya, whose make-up artist Ernesto Casillas used it on her during a recent red carpet premiere circuit.

The Formula

What sets it apart is the formula. Combining the softness and ease of a cream with the velvety feel and longevity of a powder, this gives you the best of both. When it comes into contact with your skin, the creamy texture melts in seamlessly without clinging to texture, layering smoothly over base make-up.

Cleverly, as it sets in place, it then transforms into a soft-focus powder. Quietly luminous, rather than a dewy, added pro vitamin E and raspberry extract feel nourishing on the skin. It even works dabbed onto the lips for a pretty, tonal moment.

The Shades

Available in eight shades, most of which lean brighter to the naked eye, Prada Touch can be lightly pressed over the top of your skin for a subtle, sheer effect or built up to maximise the pigment. Rich, rusty ‘Caffe’ feels fitting for autumn and would look particularly good on darker skin tones but we’re also drawn to rosy, terracotta-toned ‘Bow’. Otherwise, ‘Dahlia’ – a cool pink – is the one our beauty writer Orin Carlin has been wearing on repeat.

The Best Way To Use It

A breeze to apply, even for make-up novices, it can be dabbed onto the apples of your cheeks and tapped in with your fingertips. For an easy, healthy-looking wash of colour, Danny Morton, national make-up artist at Prada Beauty UKI, recommends using a large fluffy brush, such as the 02 Sculpting Brush. “Use it to create a diffused wash of colour across the cheeks – it’s an amazing way to freshen up a look,” he advises.

“I also like to take what’s left on my brush and apply it under the eyes to marry the blush placement with the concealer for a more natural, undetectable make-up look – shades like ‘Peach’ can help to gently correct any darkness under the eyes. Finally, for a natural finish, you can apply the blush underneath your foundation, so it looks like a flush of colour that is coming from within.”

The Reviews*

“I’m obsessed with how pretty this blush looks on the skin. It gives my cheeks that soft, fresh pop of colour while still looking really natural. I love the creamy feel and how it blends so easily.”

“What I love is how easily you can build up the color, you can go for a subtle everyday flush or add more for a stronger, more defined look.”

“This blush feels so luxurious and creamy. I love how it feels on my skin and it blends to perfection with a good brush. Plus, it lasts all day.”

“Honestly, I’m really impressed with Prada Touch. It’s super creamy and blends like a dream without looking patchy. The color payoff is beautiful and buildable; it gives such a natural, radiant flush. Definitely a new favourite!”
