Bodycare

To enjoy a little bit of luxury while you’re away, try a luxe body wash from Aesop to clean and nourish skin after a day in the sun. A miniature razor is a no-brainer, but it’s also worth looking out for mini SPFs and after sun – our favourite is Garnier Ambre Solaire. Finally, a body mist might not sound like an essential, but it’s always a treat. Diptyque’s Citronnelle & Geranium Spray gets our vote.

Fragrances

Most fragrance houses now offer miniatures, including SL favourites like Le Labo, Chanel and Ffern. Solid perfumes are another great option for travel – you can pack them in your cabin luggage without contravening any liquid restrictions. Failing that, snap up an atomiser. There are plenty of affordable options out there, ready for you to decant your favourite scent for holiday.

Haircare

From miniature shampoo and conditioner duos to masks and texture sprays, there’s so much travel-friendly haircare out there. We love OUAI’s Mini Bundle, which has everything you need for any trip, while the Davines mask pack is great for adding back sun-zapped moisture. Even brushes – like the Wet Brush detangler – now come in miniature form.

Make-Up

From the NARS Blush & Bronze Duo to Zoeva’s small eyeshadow palettes, there are so many make-up minis we love. To ensure everything arrives intact, place a cotton pad over the top of palettes and compacts, or a puff if you have one. Look out for multipurpose products to streamline your packing – like the NudeStix contour, blush and highlighting products – and don’t forget to throw in some smaller brushes to free up some space.

Skincare

Just like make-up, multipurpose skincare is great for travel – if you haven’t already, we highly recommend trying the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask after a dehydrating plane ride. A good facial SPF is essential, and we rate this one from Supergoop. Finally, it’s worth taking mini tan drops with you to enhance that summer glow – the Tan-Luxe ones will give you a healthy-looking colour without putting your skin in harm’s way.
