TOOLS & ACCESSORIES

BEIS Dopp Kit Bag, £44

If you’re in the market for a new make-up bag, consider this one from BEIS. With three separate compartments, it can store a lot. It’s smart, too – once you pack everything way, you’ll see it folds back down into a neat, ordinary-sized toiletry bag, making it great for holidays or packing on-the-go.

Shark STYLE iQ Hair Dryer & Styler, £229

Shark – a brand known for producing some of the best vacuum cleaners in the world – has entered the haircare market with a new product: the Shark STYLE iQ styles and dries your hair fast with minimal damage. With two clever attachments, it has a condenser for a sleek, glossy finish and a diffuser to help dry curly hair from root to tip. It also promises better volume and shine without ever causing too much damage, thanks to rapid air power that balances out heat. It’s surprisingly lightweight too, so you’ll never find it too hard to handle. A must-try for those serious about haircare.

Nurse Jamie Super Cryo Massaging Orb, £14

Available in both a large and mini size, these new facial tools from cult brand Nurse Jamie are designed to boost localised circulation. The result? Better skin quality and tone. Simply unscrew the twist-off ring from the base, place the massaging orb in the fridge for 30-60 minutes, then screw everything back together. Then roll it around your skin to reduce inflammation and encourage a more radiant, flushed complexion. You can also use it warm – follow the same process but place it into a bowl of warm water instead. One to keep on your desk.

MAKE-UP

OPV Beauty Metal Glitter Eyeliners, £10

If you love Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Liners, you’ll love these new, affordable ones from OPV Beauty. Available in ten different suits-all shimmers, they deliver intense pigment in one, quick sweep. They’re also water-based, which means they’ll last you a full day without any smudging or budging. Meanwhile, the fine, precise applicator allows you to get right up close to the lash line for extra definition. The colours catch the light beautifully and enhance all eye tones, but ‘904’ – a soft, bronze-y gold – is our go-to. Make sure you snap some up ahead of party season.

EXA Jump Start Smoothing Primer, $34

We’ve been waiting for cool-brand EXA to come over to the UK from the States. Cruelty-free and vegan, it uses only the best ingredients for optimum results. One of our favourites from the brand is this Jump Start Smoothing Primer. Incredibly silky, it really does blur out uneven tone, creating a semi-matte canvas that suits everyone. A little goes a long way, while the lightweight texture locks in make-up for hours – it’s gentle enough to be used on your lids, too. Extra points go to the added fatty acids which lock in plumping moisture – something most primers fail to achieve.

Fenty Beauty Bomb Posse Palette, £39

We’re huge fans of the Fenty palettes, but this has to be our favourite so far. With soft, suits-all taupes, there’s a mix of shimmers and mattes inside. Creamy in texture, they’re easy to layer up, with a velvety finish that never flakes or creases. The colours also offer a different take on the typical smokey black and navy shades – we love the pretty pink tones for a wearable daytime look. A great gift for a friend – or yourself.

Rodial Blush Drops, £50

Rodial’s innovative formulas never disappoint, and these new Blush Drops are no exception. Lightweight and easy to blend, you only need a little to build up a healthy flush of colour. Added vitamin E keeps skin hydrated, while milled mica minerals reflect the light for a glossy, dewy sheen. It’s mainly designed to be used on the cheeks, but you can use some on your lips and over the bridge of your nose to bring everything together. Unlike other liquid blushers, this sets in place and stays put – it won’t disappear into your skin or fade too quickly.

Hermès Rouge Limited Edition, £62

Everything about Hermes’s Satin Lipsticks is chic. The colours are incredibly rich and indulgent, while the formulas are nourishing and highly pigmented. These newest, limited-edition lipsticks are here to help you celebrate this party season, with velvet-y textures that feel amazing as you apply them. Each one suits every skin tone – from the soft nude, to the brick-red orange and vibrant fuchsia – while the statement-making packaging only adds to the overall luxe feel.

SKINCARE

Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Dewy Skin Mist, £50

Just the name of this product is enough to pique our interest. Brimming with three weights of hyaluronic acid, it delivers moisture immediately, while ceramides keep skin strong for a plumper-looking appearance. Quick and easy to use, it’s the simplest way to hydrate your skin fast. Plus, it’s incredibly lightweight, so it won’t ever interfere with the rest of your make-up if you spritz it on throughout the day. We also recommend misting a little onto your hair too – it’s so nourishing.

Dr Jart+ Ceramidin Cream, £30

Fans have been going mad for this does-it-all cream. With a rich, luxe texture, your skin will absorb it quickly for instant hydration. Full of ceramides, it works to support the protective layer of your skin to boost moisture retention for a smoother, healthier-looking appearance. Ideal for those who suffer with inflammation, beetroot and hyaluronic acid keep redness and feelings of tightness at bay. You can use it both day and night, but we really recommend applying it before make-up. The balm-like texture makes for a great, dewy base, without causing any pilling of foundation. A great all-rounder.

Omorovicza Queen Cleanser, £69

Here at SL, we’re big fans of Omorovicza. With formulas that always deliver on their promises, the brand has never launched a product we couldn’t get on board with. Its latest Queen Cleanser comes in a satisfying balm texture that melts away all dirt and make-up, without ever stripping your skin thanks to borage seed oils which lock in moisture long after you’ve rinsed it off. There are also ceramides and evening primrose oil in there too, for further nourishment. Use it in the morning, or as your second cleanse at night. A little goes a long way, but you can use a generous amount if you want to really get rid of dryness. A must-have for the colder months ahead.

Augustinus Bader The Serum, £260

Industry pros love Augustinus Bader and the brand is now expanding its best-selling line with the addition of this silky serum. Using TFC8 technology – Augustinus Bader’s patented formulation – it’s not too light and not too heavy, providing a texture that’s fast-absorbing and quick to get to work. Expect better hydration and a suppler, smoother complexion within just a few uses. You’ll notice your skin is brighter with more even tone, while added vitamin C and pomegranate seeds help to fade dark spots over time. Genius.

Holland & Barrett Marine Collagen Powder, £27.99

If you've wanted to try internal collagen boosters for some time, this is a great starter product. Versatile and easy to incorporate into your routine, it's brimming with vitamin C and - of course - collagen to help boost a healthier glow from the inside out. It's no secret our collagen levels begin to deplete from our early 30s, and while creams and serums can help, the right supplement can go a long way, too. Add a little to your cereal, juice or smoothie - even a glass of water will do, as the soft, tropical scent means it blends easily. Stick to drinking it once or twice a day - this is enough to see results over time.

HAIRCARE

Kerastase Refreshing Dry Shampoo, £19.80 (was £24)

Dry shampoos are everywhere these days but finding one that doesn’t go powdery or leave a white cast on your hair isn’t always easy. We’re loving this one from Kerastase. With a soft, subtle fragrance of sweet neroli, it’s incredibly refreshing, while rice starch and vitamin E quickly absorb excess oil. A great buy for boosting volume in a hurry.

Available at FeelUnique.com

J Beverly Hills Dry Shine Treatment Oil, £18.68 (was £32.50)

If your hair is dry and damaged, this is destined to be a game-changer. An easy-to-use oil, mist it onto dry or damp strands and let the argan oil and rosemary get to work locking in moisture. Incredibly lightweight, it never weighs your hair down or makes it feel greasy. Instead, it tames frizz and provides hair with that on-trend, slicked-back effect – should you leave it in. For a targeted treatment, use a little directly on the ends of dry hair to minimise the appearance of split ends. You’ll love the glossy shine it leaves behind, even after you’ve rinsed it out.

FRAGRANCE

Le Labo The Matcha 26, £141

Nothing welcomes in the new season like a cosy fragrance and The Matcha 26 is guaranteed to to be a big hit this autumn. Brimming with notes of fig, grassy vetiver, cedar wood and nutty sesame, it’s completely different to other Le Labo scents – plus, it’s a must-try if you don’t like sickly sweet perfumes. The added snap of bitter orange provides a zesty twist.

Frédéric Malle Synthetic Jungle, £195

Frédéric Malle’s new perfume is heady and warm, with notes of patchouli, oakmoss, ylang-ylang and white flowers. Any sweetness is perfectly balanced with more musky undertones for a unisex quality that’s sharp, addictive and great for autumn. An exciting outlier from other Frédéric Malle scents, you’ll be hard pushed to find many people wearing this one.
