Emulsion Cream, £14.99 | Biafine
Toothpaste Formula Red The Original, £9.99 | Email Diamant

“When I’m in France, I always pick up Biafine – my go-to skin healing emulsion for treating minor cuts, burns, sunburns and more. I use it on myself and my kids, especially when travelling because it’s so easy to apply on the go. Another favourite is the Email Diamant Original Red Formula Toothpaste – you can’t find it anywhere in the US, so I always stock up. It’s so gentle and yet it removes stains with ease, leaving behind a fresh, minty taste with a hint of star anise and wintergreen.”

Lip Definer, £20 (was £25) | Chantecaille
Lipikar Balm Moisturiser For Dry Skin, £25 | La Roche-Posay
Collagène Glow Food Supplement 30 Days Treatment, £55 | Aime

“One of my favourite Paris shopping spots is La Samaritaine. The beauty offering is so well curated. There I’ll pick up Chantecaille’s  Lip Definer, which I’ve worn forever – ‘Nuance’ is the perfect pinky nude. Then there’s Pharmacie Cotinat. One of the prettiest pharmacies in the city, it’s a historic herboristerie and the team are extremely knowledgeable. They create their own herbal infusions for all purposes, from PMS to sleep. When shopping here, I stock up on La Roche-Posay’s Lipikar Baume, a product I always have on hand. It’s a year-round must-have as it’s non-sticky – you can put your clothes on straight after. If you find yourself in Le Marais, I’d highly recommend popping by our flagship store. Aime Collagène Glow, our best-selling marine collagen supplement, has no taste so you can add it to your coffee, tea, whatever – it’s such an easy way to boost your skin, hair and nails.”

Incense Papers, £16.79 | Papier D'Armenie
Optimal Tolerance Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover, £5.30 | Mixa
Sun Stick SPF50+, £13.90 | La Rosée

“I always pick up a booklet of Papiers d’Armenie when in a French pharmacy. My parents burnt these incense strips when I was a child, and they’ve become a precious scent memory. Inspired by the Armenian ritual of burning styrax plants, they’re essentially tear-off blotting paper strips soaked in a benzoin resin tincture which, when set alight, fill the air with a churchy, ambery blend of sweet-spiced myrrh, frankincense and vanilla. Despite costing just a few euros, they smell so rich and luxurious. I also bulk-buy this bi-phase eye make-up remover which you can find in most supermarkets. Trust me – I wrote about skincare for 20 years – this is one of the products you don’t need to spend much on. This formula is very gentle, and it shifts every last speck of waterproof mascara and stubborn eyeliner. Another pharmacy favourite is this brilliant wind-up SPF50 stick. It smells like apricot Petits Filous and adds protection on the go without stinging eyes or dribbling everywhere. I use it on my kids too, and I have one in every bag during the warmer months.”

Almond Shower Oil, £22 | L'Occitane

“L’Occitane on the Champs-Elysée is an experience to be had! I love to sit inside and watch Paris go by for a bit before picking up my favourites – one product I always repurchase is the Ambre Amande Shower Oil, it feels so luxurious and silky on your skin. The store itself is so beautiful. Inside there’s a large macaron counter surrounded by heaps of product, and a lounge area where you can choose between champagne and canapés or simply coffee and a croissant. Another must-visit is Liquides Parfums – this is where I’ll hunt for a new fragrance, based around what is happening in my life and how I am feeling. I love that it allows me to try so many scents from around the world, all in one place.”

Yeux Paint, £33 | Violette_FR
Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil, £28.05 (was £33) | Nuxe

“I first discovered Violette_FR in Oh My Cream, a clean beauty concept store which has been rolled out across Paris. I love its commitment to skin education and high-quality formulations that customers can trust. I fell in love with the Yeux Paint liquid eyeshadow, specifically the matte shade ‘Petite Culotte’, which is ideal for everyday wear. Another staple is Nuxe’s Huile Prodigieuse – it’s such a great multitasker. I used to travel to France often and its nostalgic scent became synonymous with summer evenings and healthy skin.”

Time-Filler Night Anti-Ageing Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream, £68.50 | Filorga
PH5 Soft Shower Gel, £12.34 | Eucerin

“Any beauty fan visiting Paris ought to head to CityPharma – it’s hugely popular, not a hidden gem, but the selection is brilliant. One thing I always pick up is Filorga’s Timer-Filler Night Cream. Thanks to smoothing actives, it makes my skin feel fresher and tighter. Another brand I always look out for is Eucerin, specifically for its shower gels. The formulas are hyper-gentle. They balance your skin’s natural pH and support overall barrier function, leaving behind a touchable softness.”

Almond Supple Skin Oil, £40 | L'Occitane
Liftactiv 16% Pure Vitamin C Brightening Serum, £31.87 (was £42.50) | Vichy

“I recently rediscovered this body oil on a trip to Paris with my daughter. I’d forgotten how much I love it. The lightweight texture absorbs beautifully, leaving my skin soft and nourished without any grease. The subtle almond scent is warm and comforting – perfect for everyday use. In my skincare routine, this Vichy serum has been a staple for years. Powered by potent vitamin C, it gives my skin an instant glow, while maintaining firmness and smoothness. I first picked it up in a French pharmacy and have never looked back – it’s the one product I always stock up on in Paris.”
