The Viral Hype…

With over 107 million views on TikTok, Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi Drops continue to sell out and receive rave views. Think of this product as a skincare-infused self-tanner with hydrating ingredients that soften skin and create a luminous glow. Unlike some tanners, you don’t have to wait ages to see results – think immediate and natural-looking glow that’s never streaky or OTT.

At £36, they’re at the pricier end for a liquid-based bronzer but you need so little each time you use them that you do get your money’s worth.

The Formula…

Almost sheer but with a lightly bronzed pigment, the drops have a thin, serum-like texture you can build up to suit your individual needs. Lightweight and smooth, it’s so easy to work with and never looks orange or theatrical. Plus, they play well with other skincare and make-up products, so you never have to worry about blotchiness or pilling.

As for the ingredients, these drops contain skin-soothing cocoa extract, plumping peptides, vitamin D and a hefty dose of fatty acids. Everything works together to strengthen your skin barrier and deliver long-term benefits. Added antioxidants also keep skin protected from pollution and other aggressors.

Think of this product as a SKINCARE-INFUSED SELF-TANNER with hydrating ingredients that SOFTEN SKIN and CREATE A LUMINOUS GLOW.

An Insider On How To Use The Drops…

Alex Reader, make-up artist says:

“The reason these drops are so popular is because they’re so versatile. Whether you want to keep the look subtle or go full-on bronze, the formula works both ways. Personally, I love to add one or two drops to my SPF in the morning for a sunshiny glow. For something a bit deeper, apply four to five drops neat to bare skin or mix a little with your foundation.

I recommend using the drops as a contour underneath your foundation, too. Begin by applying them as an all over bronze, mixing the drops with your SPF or moisturiser. Once you've done this, go back in with a little bit more product and a Beautyblender around the contours of your face for extra definition. You’ll have a naturally enhanced bone structure. The options are endless with these drops and because the texture is sheer, you can’t go wrong – the formula is fool-proof.

If you ever feel like you've used too much, just apply a little moisturiser on top. This will push the product back into the skin for a more even, natural look that isn't OTT.

Finally, I recommend using these when you're back from a holiday and your normal foundation is too light for you. Add a few drops into your base before buffing the formula into your skin. It's an easy way to tweak your tone without having to buy a new base."
