Celimax

While Korean skincare brands like Laneige and Dr Jart have become familiar names in recent years, Celimax has quietly flown under the radar – largely due to its presence in specialist stockists only. That’s starting to change. Since launching at Superdrug late last year, the affordable brand is set to reach a much wider audience. One of its standout products is The Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster, a retinoid treatment that delivers a visible smoothing effect on fine lines – particularly impressive given its accessible price point.

Mimetique

Launched in the UK last year, Mimetique first caught our eye thanks to its pared-back, apothecarian-inspired packaging – but the formulas more than live up to expectations. Created by a cosmetic chemist raised in a family of dermatologists, the brand is built around biomimetic skincare, meaning each formula works in harmony with the skin’s natural functions for gentle yet effective results. The silky Ctrl Eye Cream is a standout but our hero product is the Cloud Cleanser: a melting balm with a subtle frangipane scent that leaves skin feeling soft, bouncy and comfortably nourished.

Foile

Five years after launching in Australia, Foile arrived in the UK in late 2025 and thanks to its colourful, sculptural bottles, it’s hard to miss. Inside the refillable packaging, you’ll find vegan, cruelty-free and fragrance-free formulas designed to work in sync with the skin’s natural rhythms, with botanicals firmly at the core. The rich Jojoba Face Oil is a clear hero, while the Skin Sponge Serum – cooling with aloe and calming marine botanicals – is a standout for irritated or sensitive skin. Prices sit at the more luxurious end of the scale but the refill system (almost half the cost of the original bottles) makes it a more considered investment than other comparable brands.

INN Beauty Project

INNBeauty Project has been building a loyal following in the US since 2019 and finally landed in the UK late last year. Intending to bridge the gap between high-performance and high-value formulas, the brand focuses on offering clinically proven results at accessible price points. Rather than singling out one ingredient, its formulas combine multiple actives and are backed by robust clinical trials designed to demonstrate real efficacy. The standout is the cult Extreme Cream – a rich yet wearable moisturiser that’s proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Daisyface

The name is no accident. Founded by Daisy, the brand focuses on extracts of the flower – with daisy stem cells at the heart of the formulas. Known for their regenerative, protective and detoxifying properties, they’re supported by daisy oil, which delivers antioxidant benefits to help combat signs of ageing and minimise hyperpigmentation. The British brand is also part of the growing move away from complicated, multi-step routines, offering a streamlined edit – cleanser, exfoliator, toner, face cream and eye cream – all housed in refillable sage-green packaging with a subtle floral nod.

Tursian

One for the science nerds, Tursian is a luxury skincare brand built on pharmaceutical-level precision. Rather than relying on harsh actives, the formulas focus on supporting the skin through gentle cell turnover, enhanced hydration, a resilient barrier and a strong antioxidant profile. Notably, nothing is outsourced – Tursian controls every stage of development, from formulation through to testing, ensuring complete oversight and consistency. One product that’s seriously impressed us is the R-31 Eye Contour Brightening Gel. Powered by advanced actives including exosomes, peptides, growth factors and ceramides, it visibly brightens the eye area and softens the look of dark circles with ease.

SunsolveMD

Ask any dermatologist and they’ll tell you sun exposure is the single biggest contributor to skin damage – which is why a brand built entirely around SPF feels so right. SunsolveMD specialises in mineral sun care formulated with skin-repairing ingredients, offering targeted solutions for specific concerns, from pigmentation and oil control to anti-ageing. Each product is developed by the brand’s ‘Solve Specialists’ – a multidisciplinary team of scientists, dermatologists, engineers and medical experts – resulting in formulas that are both highly effective and comfortable to wear. A standout detail is the dedicated SPF eye cream – a rarity in the category.
