The Story
Klira was founded by Dr Emma Craythorne – one of Harley Street’s most in-demand consultant dermatologists. She has a host of impressive credentials – including trustee for the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority and former president of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group. Prior to launching the brand, she spent years crafting prescription-based formulas and as such, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the active ingredients that are backed by both evidence and science.
Learning that her clients were feeling jaded from continually buying over-the-counter products that offered limited results, she started building Klira in the pandemic, refining data from over 12,000 online tests to get everything in place.

How It Works
At Klira, you start by taking an in-depth, online questionnaire. This covers everything from your medical history to your lifestyle and skin type. There are 51 questions in total – expect to be asked about how your foundation settles to what causes your skin to feel tight and whether you’re more prone to black or whiteheads.
It’s thorough – the process replaces an in-clinic appointment – but once the questions are over, you’ll get your 'SkinSize' results, select your membership and then upload your photographs before a specialist nurse begins their anaylsis on everything you've submitted. Once this is complete, you'll then be prescribed your bespoke formula, which is made fresh and delivered monthly.

At any point throughout your journey, you can ask questions and continually receive support around your routine and the products to ensure you get the best results.
