The Beauty Essentials We Wouldn’t Travel Without

“I love a good Space NK haul before I travel. Home to some of the best beauty brands, there are a few key products I always snap up. Firstly, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a must-have wherever I go. Cooling and refreshing, it’s the antidote to tired, dull skin. Just a few sprays help you hit refresh – it’s the ultimate pre-, mid- and post-flight boost. I’m loving Gisou's Collagen Drops right now, too. The bottle is small and easy to travel with and you only need a few drops to hydrate and nourish sun-drenched hair. It’s perfect for creating slicked-back hairstyles. Phlur’s ‘Father Figure’ fragrance is one I’ll never tire of, and I’m thrilled it’s now available in a slim, compact bottle, meaning there are no negotiations at security. Nothing beats its figgy, musky warmth. Lastly, Kopari’s Sheer Setting Mist is a clever hybrid I’ll be packing this year. It provides great SPF protection, locks make-up in place and lends skin a soft, juicy glow.”

“I try to travel light with beauty products, but I won’t let standards slip when it comes to quality (or in some cases, luxury) formulas. Take my favourite Sisley face mask, for example. Yes it’s pricey, but it’s so brilliant on skin that is parched from the plane journey or sensitised by sun exposure. And actually, if you consider the cost-per-use, it’s not quite so eye-watering. The same rule applies for Dr. Barbara Sturm’s new Bronzing Drops, as a little goes a long way and they’re brilliantly multi-functional. Currently I use them to help even out my skin tone, but they’d be great added to your body moisturiser to create a sunkissed sheen ahead of an alfresco night out. I always travel with multiple lip balms so this Summer Fridays kit has me covered – one for my bag, one for my washbag and another for when I inevitably misplace one. Lastly, this summery VB perfume and a handy selection of Sol de Janeiro mists are a must.”

“A holiday for me is the golden opportunity to unwind, but that doesn’t mean taking my foot off the pedal with my beauty routine. Space NK’s Summer Society Summer Prep Edit is the perfect starting point, filled with mini heroes by Milk, Ultra Violette and Rare Beauty – I particularly love the fresh, soothing texture of the Cooling Water Jelly Tint during warmer weather. A light, glowy base is a must, and for that I reach for Charlotte Tilbury’s foundation stick. The smooth, buttery texture feels so cushiony and nourishing, especially after a day spent soaking up the sun. Speaking of which – a quality SPF is non-negotiable and French label Mimétique has seriously impressed me with its milky, near-invisible formula. Travelling – special shoutout to the dreaded cabin air – is tough on your skin and for fighting tell-tale signs of tiredness, I can’t be without Reome’s Active Recovery Broth. Insiders are obsessed with it for good reason – it’s like a supercharged glass of water for your skin, leaving you quenched and noticeably brighter.”
