THE EYE COLLECTION:

Prada Beauty

Since the Italian label made its UK debut a couple of years ago, Prada Beauty has done well to maintain the buzz. The packaging certainly helps – it’s exquisite, there are no two ways about it – as do high-profile collabs with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, but the product goes beyond merely artfully designed make-up. The formulas are genuinely excellent, and the shades playful yet still wearable, without slipping on performance. As for the latest launches, they’re all about the eyes – think soft, blendable pencils, lash-extending mascara and ultra-versatile eyeshadow quads to add sultry definition.

THE MINI-DOC:

L’Oréal Paris

For beauty superfans, a look at the life of the ‘unsung advertising genius’ behind ‘Because I’m Worth It’ – easily the industry’s most iconic strapline – makes for an interesting watch. Centred on McCann copywriter Ilon Specht, who came up with the L’Oréal Paris slogan back in 1971 for its Préférence Hair Color range at just 23, the short film explores how this famous line came to fit in with the wider cultural shift towards female empowerment, and how it continues to inspire today.

Paying tribute to ingredients loved by the Romans, the luxurious, transportive lineup spans silky floral oils to honey-infused scrubs. For bodycare bound to lift your mood, restore your skin and – crucially – whisk your mind away from daily stresses, look no further.
