Nova Glow Liquid Light, £25 | VIEVE

If you loved VIEVE’s Skin Nova, you’ll love this new Liquid Light highlighter – just bear in mind a little goes a very long way. Just apply a dab or two of the sheer, velvety texture onto the highest areas of your face to add a touch of luminosity to your complexion. There’s niacinamide in there too, which will take down redness and uneven tone for a smoother finish. Choose from shades including ‘Bijou’ ‘Holy Chic’ and ‘Riches’.

Legendary Serum Lipstick, £33 | RMS Beauty

With the slip of a balm but the longevity of a matte lipstick, this launch from RMS is worth the hype. The formula is full of softening ingredients – think kakadu plum and cherry fruit water – while the waxy texture helps seal the colour in for hours. The shade ‘Ruby Moon’ is perfect for those who love a pillar box red, while ‘Miranda’ – a soft, pinky neutral tone – is great for daytime.

Écrin Couture Iconic Multi-Use Palette, £103 | Dior

If you know a make-up fanatic and are already thinking about Christmas gifting, we can’t recommend this palette enough. Inside you’ll find lip, cheek and eye shades, complete with neat brushes that help you nail the application. The velvety compact is a bonus. Think of this as a one-stop-shop full of shades and textures that will suit everyone.

Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil, £30 | Makeup By Mario

These might be called ‘powders’ but it feels more malleable on the skin – plus, it’s easy to buff and blend. Offering a healthy flush and dose of moisture, your skin won’t drink them up too quickly. We love ‘Creamy Peach’ for a soft, rosy glow, while ‘Desert Rose’ is best for those looking to sculpt and define.

Soothing & Barrier Support Serum, £17.30 | The Ordinary

This has to be one of our favourite launches from The Ordinary. Full of vitamin B12, bisabolol and ceramides, it tackles inflammation, redness and feelings of tightness immediately. Plus, added niacinamide further soothes and softens skin so that over time, you’ll see skin looks fresher and more even in tone.

Youth Potion Enriched Retinal Complex | Tropic

If you want to try retinol but are nervous of causing unnecessary irritation, try this new one by Tropic. It’s the world’s first certified natural retinal that doesn’t compromise on results – in fact, it’s proven to work up to ten times faster than traditional retinol. Backed by a decade’s worth of research, the proven-to-work formula gets down deep into your skin to regenerate sluggish skin cells for a brighter, firmer, plumper-looking complexion. There’s a hefty dose of vitamins and nutrients in there too, all of which help to strengthen skin and keep it looking and feeling supple. Ideal for sensitive types or anyone looking to improve skin texture and brightness.

Cryo Sculpt Depuffing Facial Tools, £42 | Sculpted By Aimee

These Cryo Tools are designed to hug the curves of your face to depuff and tighten skin. Keep them in the fridge or freezer and then roll them over your face when you need to hit refresh. Stimulating better blood flow and circulation, you’ll find your skin looks a lot fresher post-use – even if the results are temporary – and has better tone and smoother texture. It’s a great way to soothe headaches and tension, too.

Anti-Drip Wrist Bands, £4 | Revolution Skincare

Don’t you hate it when you’re washing your face and water begins to run down your arms? That’s exactly why brands are creating these bands. These ones from Revolution are our favourites, not least because they’re the most affordable at £4, but absorb all water and product without feeling soggy against your skin. They’re simple, but you’ll be amazed at how useful you end up finding them.

Hair-Cream: Elastic Bounce Leave-In, £26 | Bread Beauty Supply

Nothing restores softness quite like this leave-in hair cream. Full of castor, argan and grapeseed oil, it gets deep down into your hair’s shaft, sealing in hydration that lasts, while quinoa protein is proven to prevent hair breakage and promote better growth. We love it for styling, too – use it to slick hair back into a bun to let the formula nourish dry, lacklustre strands. For anyone with curls, you’ll find this enhances their shape and bounce, too.

OOMPH! Dry Volume & Texture Spray, £20 | Duck & Dry

We really rate this spray by Duck & Dry, which acts like a dry shampoo but without any chalky, white residue. It also delivers on volume and bounce, giving your hair the kind of moveable texture that looks freshly styled. At £20, it’s not cheap, but a little goes a long way – and it will extend the life of a blow-dry by a good few days.

Pistachio Game Eau de Parfum, £225 | BIBBI

New brand BIBBI doesn’t just look chic, its selection of fragrances will suit everyone. The brainchild of Swedish-born creative designer Stina Bibbi Seger and husband Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren – the man behind Vilhem Parfumerie – each of the brand’s scent has been designed with experiences and ancient meditation practices in mind. There are six to choose from but ‘Pistachio Game’ is the one we recommend. Perfect if you like creamy, warming fragrances, it has notes of white leather, sandalwood and vetiver smoke.

Nordic Wilds Body Oil, £16 | Space NK

We love Space NK’s new bath and body care range – its ‘Nordic Wilds’ scent is full of black pepper, juniper berry and tonka bean to refresh your senses. This body oil is our current go-to. Silky-smooth, it absorbs fast to soak up dry patches and leaves behind a very soft sheen, giving limbs a smoother appearance almost immediately. That’s all thanks to avocado oils and jojoba, which never feel sticky or greasy.

This is a real treat – either for a loved one or yourself. It has a subtle scent of cedarwood, patchouli and citrus-y ylang ylang, with the  notes combining to create a fragrance that’s soothing and relaxing. It’s the perfect candle to hunker down and cosy up with over winter. Plus, it’s made from 100% natural wax and comes in an upcycled jar.
