The Brands, Treatments & Experts A Beauty Founder Really Rates
My daily routine needs simplicity. I am busy and on-the-go a lot, so my beauty routine needs to be simple. It starts with Medik8’s Peptide Serum and Sofie Pavitt’s Face Cream. I’ll then layer on the Saie Glowy Super Gel and Slip Tinted Moisturiser, before finishing with Dew Blush for a juicy hit of colour.
Shani Darden is my go-to expert in LA. Her signature chemical peel is an absolute game-changer. It instantly brightens, smooths out texture and gives you that instant radiance. If you’re ever over there, she is worth every cent. I also swear by Kristie Streicher for brows in LA. She laminates to relax the hair then subtly tints and shapes them. Good brows are the secret to looking fresh and youthful.
Sarah Chapman is my go-to in the UK. Whenever I visit London, I book into her clinic. Her signature facial massage and tech-driven treatments are some of the best I’ve ever had. They really do give you the ultimate skin reset.
Sofawave is on my list to try. It’s a non-invasive ultrasound treatment that lifts and tightens the face and neck by boosting collagen. Everyone’s been raving about the results.
Mirror Water is my latest brand discovery. Founded by Estée Lalonde, the bodycare makes your daily routine feel like a real, grounding ritual. I also love Sabrina and Idris Elba’s brand, S’ABLE Labs. The Moringa Lip Salve is honestly one of the most nourishing things I’ve ever put on my lips.
I would travel time and again to the Ritz Club & Spa in Paris. The Jet Lag massage is incredible. If you want to feel alive after a long flight, that is the best treatment you will ever have. Every single detail is so considered, from the incredible protocol right down to the most comfortable bed.
My latest empty is Chris McMillan’s Clarifying Shampoo. It clears and rebalances your scalp, getting rid of product build-up and hard water minerals – but it doesn’t strip your hair unlike some formulas. It leaves mine feeling so clean, soft and weightless. It’s a weekly treatment I swear by.
If I could only buy one product from Saie, it would be the Glowy Super Gel. It has the most beautiful formula – incredibly hydrating, completely weightless and it gives your skin that lit-from-within finish without ever feeling sticky.
Magnesium and matcha are two of my non-negotiables. Before I’ve even run out, I always replace Rocky’s Ceremonial Blend Matcha at least twice so I’m never without. It’s essential to my routine, as is a good magnesium supplement, which works wonders for good sleep. Another tip for good sleep is investing in a humidifier. It prevents congestion and keeps my skin fresh.
Frédéric Malle’s ‘French Lover’ is my favourite fragrance. I love how complex and nuanced it is – there’s this subtle hint of cigarette smoke alongside deep, woody notes, but it still feels effortlessly feminine without any of that artificial sweetness. I love Aerin’s Tuberose Gardenia too. It takes me back to those early moments in my career when I was first immersing myself in the world of beauty and learning what true elegance smells like.
My hair has never been coloured. I don’t do a great deal to it but I do book in with Mara Roszak from RŌZ for regular trims. For styling, I go to Stefano – he’s incredible. I always ask for long, French mermaid layers with face-framing pieces in the front without taking off too much length. To finish off my look, I always use RŌZ’s Hair Santa Sucia Styling Oil. It makes such a difference to the overall look.
Byredo is a brand I really admire. The aesthetic is so simple yet completely timeless – but what I love most is how Ben Gorham built a brand rooted in emotion, memory, and narrative. He’s managed to create iconic, instantly recognisable objects of desire while staying true to a specific, elevated vision.
My best tip is to prime your make-up brushes. By that, I mean thoroughly clean them and then mist them with a primer or base spray. Doing this before you apply any make-up will always give you the very best finish – trust me, it will last longer and look more professional.
