This summer, the immersive food pros at Bompas & Parr will unveil their tribute to ice cream with Scoop: A Wonderful Ice Cream World. Housed in the British Museum of Food in King’s Cross, the show will be an interactive experience: guests will experience glow-in-the-dark ice cream, 60,000-year-old glacial ice and the world's first hundreds and thousands fountain. There’ll also be a room just for adults that tells the dark side of ice cream in Scotland – we’re intrigued…

LIVE OUT YOUR DISNEY DREAMS HERE: Sounds & Sorcery
A new immersive show celebrating Disney’s Fantasia is set to premiere in the underground maze of tunnels at The Vaults in Waterloo over the summer. Wearing individual headphones to listen to the specially created binaural recordings, audience members will be guided through elaborate set designs, cutting-edge light installations and 3D projections as they go on an interactive journey through the many worlds of Fantasia.

ATTEND A FESTIVAL FOR WORKING WOMEN HERE: FoundHER
For the second year running, the ladies behind London’s first women-only club, The Allbright, will host FoundHER, a festival aimed at working women. Held at its new Bloomsbury HQ, speakers include Cefinn Founder Samantha Cameron; businesswoman and activist Gina Miller; Channel 4 News presenter and journalist Cathy Newman; and TV presenter and beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall. GET THINKING HERE: FutureFest
One of Europe's biggest 'Festivals of the Future', FutureFest will be taking over London’s Tobacco Dock this July. The event brings together artists, politicians, comedians and activists to explore alternative futures through more than 80 talks, performances, debates and immersive experiences. Guest speakers for 2018 include musician Imogen Heap, comedian Ruby Wax, politicians Nick Clegg and Nicola Sturgeon, economics editor Paul Mason and the Southbank Centre’s Artistic Director, Jude Kelly.

CHECK OUT A NEW PLAY: Genesis Inc
Hampstead Theatre is showing the world premiere of Jemma Kennedy’s blisteringly entertaining play Genesis Inc. Directed by Laurie Sansom, this is a multifaceted tale of the final frontier of 21st-century capitalism: the privatisation of human reproduction. This richly imaginative, topical, and explosively funny new comedy takes a closer look at the lengths to which people will go to defy biology – and at the moral compass of an industry that trades on fear and hope. Designed to celebrate London’s leading ladies, the Women’s Club is as a monthly meeting of minds held in the subterranean bar beneath the Michelin-starred Jamavar. TEST-DRIVE KERB’S BIGGEST SITE YET: Kerb St Kats
One of London’s most popular street food markets is about to launch its biggest-ever lunch site. Located at St Katharine’s Dock, the company’s sixth market will feature 18 traders, rotating each week and serving up some of Kerb’s all-time favourite dishes, with everything from African fusion Jollof boxes to Vietnamese vegan banh mi. For its launch on 6th July, there’ll also be live music and a brewery pop-up from FourPure.

HAVE DINNER 100 FT IN THE AIR: London in the Sky
Arguably the capital's most adventurous al fresco dining experience, London In The Sky – the fine dining, chef-led experience hosted on an open-plan table suspended 100 feet above the South Bank – is returning this July. For the first time in the UK, three 22-seat tables will be suspended at once, each with different menus designed by award-winning chefs Robin Gill, Lee Westcott and Pascal Aussignac. Bookings are available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Not for the faint-hearted.

GRAB A LIMONCELLO COCKTAIL ON THE GO HERE: Ludo The Pococello Van
Keep an eye out for this yellow boozy beacon: premium limoncello brand Pococello is sending its stylish van on a tour around the capital this summer. Named Ludo, the three-wheeled Piaggio Ape will be serving ‘Poco-Tonics’ (a summery twist on the classic G&T) and ‘Sunshine Spritz’ (a refreshing mix of Pococello, prosecco and sparkling water), as it pulls up to London hotspots across the summer.

VISIT A THIRST-QUENCHING EXHIBITION HERE: The Art of Campari
In a new exhibition, London's Estorick Collection will trace the history of Campari’s pioneering approach to advertising its iconic ruby-red aperitivo. Drawn from Campari's extensive archives in Milan, the show will feature the original Belle Époque posters, looking through the revolutionary campaigns of the 1920s and culminating in the elegant designs of the 1960s. After the show, visitors will be able to sample a perfectly balanced Campari G&T. We can’t think of anything more summery.

BOOK AHEAD FOR THIS: Sherlock: The Game
The game is afoot! The team behind themed escape room Time Run has released the first tickets for its immersive Sherlock Holmes-themed live game. Co-scripted by Sherlock writers Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, players (in groups of four to six people) will make their way through detailed recreations of the TV show’s environments in a 90-minute experience. We’re already excited about solving the mystery.
