6 Festive Season Outfits From Little Spree
For Christmas Day
I’m completely obsessed with this skirt and it’s even more beautiful on – mine has been hanging in my wardrobe waiting for the right moment. Wear it with a simple t-shirt and pretty bow sandals. If you feel the cold, throw a chunky cable knit on top.
For A Dinner Party
At this time of year I always fall back on my favourite pair of Manolo Mary Janes – I bought them for the christening of my twins 11 years ago and I still treasure them. For a dinner party, team them with blue jeans, a jumper and a beautiful bow hair accessory. Comfortable, but it still looks like you made an effort.
For An Evening Out
Balance out sparkles with slouchy khaki trousers – the two colours together scream ‘undone glamour’. Take things up a notch with a pair of bow sandals.
New Year's
You can’t beat a classic tux for a bit of nonchalant glamour. Personally, I prefer the fit a little slouchy, but will add high, pretty sandals and statement chandelier earrings to keep things feminine. With a pretty bra and a well-positioned safety pin, I’d advise wearing nothing underneath the jacket.
For Sunday Lunch
Cropped, raw-hem jeans with chic mules and a chunky knit is one of my favourite festive combinations. Cosy, sexy and chic.
For The Work Christmas Party
I love this Stella Nova dress – wear it with metallic flats and an oversized coat to give the look a masculine edge. It’s a great ‘day to evening’ option.
For A Country Walk
A cable knit, chunky boots, skinny jeans and an oversized coat is my go-to outfit for a country walk. Add a beanie if it’s especially cold – they’re great for disguising a bad hair day, too.
