TWP
TWP’s SS27 collection was a lesson in effortless, everyday dressing. Designer Trish Wescoat Pound balanced utility with sensuality, combining chic anoraks, swishy skirts and lightweight nylon with fluid leather, suede and denim. Bright flashes of crimson, lemon yellow and Yves Klein blue brought energy to the collection, while aprons, asymmetric jackets and relaxed tailoring added a practical edge. The result felt modern, considered and easy to wear.

Khaite
For SS27, Khaite moved away from its familiar stealthy cool towards something softer and more romantic. Catherine Holstein looked to Venice for inspiration, translating its old-world glamour into flower-embroidered lace dresses, pastel shifts and delicate mousseline separates. Horsehair ruffles added movement, while exposed corsetry, hand-finished details and softly undone fastenings kept the collection grounded in Khaite’s signature sensuality. The standout pieces were the sheer evening suits.

Proenza Schouler
Rachel Scott’s second collection for Proenza Schouler felt freer, more assured and closer to the downtown spirit of the brand. Sculptural gowns, asymmetric skirts and softly draped sequins brought drama, while clever pleating, curved stripes and geometric peplums shaped the waist. Crochet and zebra-print jacquard added texture and graphic impact, balancing the collection’s more fluid silhouettes. The final highlight was the new PS1 Walker bag – a softer, curvier update to one of the label’s most recognisable designs.

Kallmeyer
Daniella Kallmeyer found inspiration in the structure and texture of traditional Japanese packaging for SS27. The collection played with balance: formal yet relaxed, polished yet practical. Knit co-ords, opera dusters and cropped jackets were styled alongside pedal-pusher trousers and light-wash jeans, creating a wardrobe that felt both directional and wearable. Beaded plaids, fringe-trimmed knits and an intricately worked ivory jacket added depth, while the season’s most unexpected accessory was the cummerbund.

Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger brought New York glamour to the Plaza Hotel to show a collection that was rooted in modern prep. His signature red, white and navy palette was refreshed through relaxed tailoring, silk rugby shirts, updated sailing jackets and 90s-inspired plaid. Oversized totes, bold logos and sporty separates added a playful finish, while Gigi Hadid opened the show in a slouchy khaki blazer and red trousers. Nostalgic without feeling dated, it was a confident reminder of why Hilfiger’s all-American aesthetic continues to resonate.

Magda Butrym
For SS27, Magda Butrym softened her signature leather and sculpted silhouettes with a lighter, more romantic approach. Inspired by Polish artist Natalia LL and memories of her grandmother in the kitchen, the collection reimagined the apron through layers of sheer silk, delicate slips and translucent trenches. Feathers, pearls and crochet-edged details added a glamorous finish, while structured blazers and fitted dresses kept the collection grounded in Butrym’s confident, feminine aesthetic.

Tory Burch
Tory Burch’s SS27 collection was all about joy, optimism and opulent femininity, tempered with a distinctly practical edge. Mid-century glamour came through in embellished cardigans, broad-shouldered tailoring and high-waisted trousers, while dresses appeared twisted, draped and deliberately undone. The details were the real highlight: crystal-studded tie-dye, hand-painted silk feathers, beaded jewellery and richly textured chenille. Utilitarian accessories, including a new shopper inspired by a simple paper bag, brought an easy, everyday feel to the more extravagant looks.

Calvin Klein Collection
Veronica Leoni’s SS27 collection distilled Calvin Klein’s design codes down to their essentials. The heavy layers and embellishment of previous seasons gave way to slip dresses, slim skirts, straight-leg trousers, clean t-shirts and sharply cut jackets. Inspired in part by Georgia O’Keeffe’s pared-back wardrobe, the collection focused on repetition, modular dressing and beautifully considered basics. Cotton blazers, pale high-waisted denim, plaid trenches and a two-tone silk slip dress captured the quiet power of modern minimalism.

Altuzarra
Altuzarra’s SS27 collection was a joyful celebration of colour, freedom and self-expression. Inspired by Casa Susanna, Joseph Altuzarra combined hyper-feminine pieces with tougher, more masculine elements – think full-skirted silk dresses styled with biker jackets, broad-shouldered blazers worn with leather carpenter trousers and delicate plissé dresses finished with brogues. Embellished knitwear, dramatic slit skirts and dresses that revealed sparkling layers underneath brought a sense of glamour and discovery to the collection.
