There's so much goodness on the high street right now. I'm obsessed with the soft buttermilk colour trend and this dress from & Other Stories is the dream. I plan on wearing it with pointed mules and gold jewellery for the evening, and with fisherman sandals and a basket bag in the daytime. I really need a cool pair of pale blue jeans and these ARKET ones look like the perfect shape for laid-back weekends. High-street accessories are particularly strong at the moment – this raffia bag and chocolate suede mules will slot seamlessly into my spring capsule.

I love to switch up my style with new accessories and the high street has some great options. You can’t go wrong with brown leather sandals, and this pair from H&M offer that luxury look at an affordable price. I’m always on the lookout for unique jewellery, and these mismatched silver earrings from COS will add some personality into my everyday look. Satin trousers are a spring essential – they’re so easy to pair with a white vest top or a linen shirt.

You can never have too many coloured suits – at least, that's what I tell myself every time I buy a new one. This loose-fitting, sea-blue suit from Zara is a great shade for the months ahead. I’m also loving brown accessories with bright colours – it's a combo that works so well. Plus, they’ll still look great come autumn/winter, so they feel like a good investment.

It may feel wrong to start bookmarking proper springwear - but I absolutely am. Linen trousers, colourful bags and pops of red are front of mind. These Ganni-style slip ons are a fraction of the price and promise to style up simple looks - as will this cool belt. Khaki is also on my radar, and this cropped jacket is a piece I know I'll wear to death this season.

My winter basics have worked overtime the last few months so I'm in need of some fresh additions for spring that will work for the office and relaxed weekends at home. You can't beat a crisp, blue shirt and white wide-leg denim for an easy off-duty look. I always love a stripe for a simple basic, with some dark accessories to toughen it up. Mesh flats really are the shoe of the season; they will go with everything in my wardrobe for a softer update to my winter boots.

It's exciting to see the stores dropping so many spring/summer pieces. Highlights for me include this fun sequin bag at Reserved, this bodysuit which would be so useful for the evening and these crochet flower heels from River Island. I also think Reformation is so strong at this time of year – I love this red linen minidress, and these little shorts.

The high street comes into its own at this time of year, and always does some of the best cotton and linen separates. I'll be adding a bit of colour to my wardrobe with this linen set from COS. M&S is also looking strong for spring/summer – I love the idea of this asymmetric top with balloon-shaped denim and kitten heels. Finally, ARKET and Jigsaw are my current go-tos for cool accessories.
