Like most, I've also moved away from darker suede for spring. This blazer is the perfect seasonal update – I'm styling mine with a simple t-shirt and denim, as well as a woven bag and sandals, for a simple, chic everyday look.

"My take on suede for spring? A short chocolate-brown suede skirt styled with an oversized soft blue shirt – a fail-safe colour combination that always feels cool and modern. I’d finish the look with a stone trench to balance out the silhouette and add a pair of suede moccasins for a relaxed, effortless feel."

It's finally safe (for the most part) to wear suede – gone is the worry of getting it wet and instead, the darker shades that I wore in winter can be replaced by lighter tones. This blush pink suede jacket instantly caught my eye; I would size up to give it a cooler, oversized feel. The denim shorts are perfect for showing off the intricate detail on the suede & Other Stories mules and to keep the look fresh, I've added a simple white top and gold chain necklace. The brown braided bag from Zara is the perfect finishing touch.

‘‘I’m all about khaki suede for spring – and a matching set adds impact without trying too hard. To veer away from looking too wintery, I keep things fresh with a crisp white tee and mules. Tinted sunglasses complete the look.’’

“I love mixing androgynous pieces with more feminine touches – these long Bermuda shorts have a sharp, tailored feel but pairing them with this oversized sheer shirt adds just the right amount of softness. Minimalist accessories like heeled flip flops and a buttery leather clutch help to polish up the look.’’
