Look 1

Leather trousers are a staple in my wardrobe because of how easily I can make them work day to night. These ones from Sandro have a slight bootcut and are the perfect length to wear with both flats and heels. In the daytime, I usually pair them with a simple striped jumper from Longchamp, an oversized vintage Burberry men’s coat with big shoulder pads, and Gucci Mary Janes and socks. I love the silhouette of the oversized coat and the effortless chic vibe of the trousers. You can easily transition this into an evening look by combining the trousers with a silky or patterned blouse, some patent ballerinas, heels or loafers, and an oversized blazer.

These navy bootcut trousers were such a great find. I love wearing them with a simple tee and a leather jacket in the daytime or – as here – with an all-over floral-print peplum jacket and white cut-out loafers for the evening. I love the little detail of wearing cut-out loafers with colourful socks – an eyecatcher to complete the look. The Gucci glasses I’m wearing have become something of a trademark of mine. I wear them all the time as they’re slightly tinted and add a 70s vibe to any look, which I always love.

Look 3

I have a real thing for men's tailoring and absolutely love wearing suits. I wore this Gucci menswear three-piece suit during an event at the Berlinale in Berlin. I find suits exude elegance and sophistication, and are such an easy thing to wear. For a casual vibe you can combine them with trainers or loafers; or if you have a fancy evening event to attend, add some heels and a nice shirt et voila – ready! A baseball cap is also brilliant at making a daytime look sportier and more casual.

I was gifted this amazing faux-leather Nour Hammour coat by NET-A-PORTER and am simply obsessed with it. It is so lush and soft, and adds glamour to any outfit. The fabulous thing about it is that you can also remove the faux-fur collar to dress it down with boots, denim and a simple turtleneck jumper. For a stunning evening look, wear it with a simple black dress, tights and some over-the-knee boots.

Look 5

This is my go-to outfit when I head to the gym for a spinning class. I’m normally not much of a chunky trainer girl, but I love this Axel Arigato pair. They’re super comfortable and add an understated coolness to any look. The jacket is a great quick-fix for those in-between temperatures in autumn and spring. Wear it with denim in daytime or throw it over your leggings, hoodie and trainers, as I did, when you’re off to the gym.

Look 6

This whole look is from the Berlin-based label Kaviar Gauche. The combination of crop blazer and wide-leg pants creates a contrast in proportions that I found visually striking. The cropped length of the blazer adds a modern edge, while the wide-leg trousers provide a flowy and elegant silhouette. For a daytime look, you can pair them with a casual top or a simple blouse, creating a chic and polished outfit suitable for work or casual outings. For the evening, dress it up with a stylish blouse or a statement top then add some accessories and heels for a sophisticated and glamorous look. This combination always makes me feel confident and comfortable.

Look 7

I always thought my colour palette was pretty black and white when it came to my wardrobe, until I noticed that I actually quite like to wear some splashes of colour. A colourful pair of wide-legged trousers is a great choice if you want to start implementing colour. You can easily team them with a comfy oversized sweater and trainers for a relaxed feel, or a printed silk shirt and oversized jacket to style things up. Red pairs particularly well with white, navy or even pink, but my top tip is to keep the accessories simple, so things don't feel too over the top.

Look 8

You can never go wrong with a great brown corduroy suit. It oozes 70s vibes, and the colour is suitable for both summer and winter. Team it with some platform heels and an oversized Peter Pan-collar shirt for an evening look, or opt for trainers and a simple cable-knit jumper or cardigan for a cosy daytime vibe.
