Content Creator & Brand Owner Lisa Grenn Styles Her Favourite Seiko Presage Pieces
Created in partnership with SEIKO
Talk us through the looks you paired with the Seiko Presage watches…
For the first look, I leaned into something that felt timeless yet playful – a pillbox hat paired with a soft cashmere knit, a scarf nonchalantly draped over the shoulders, a tailored pencil skirt and classic heels. It was very much inspired by that vintage, Audrey Hepburn elegance, but I wanted to give it a modern twist. The Seiko Presage watch added that contemporary edge – understated and beautifully crafted. It grounded the look for now, while still feeling utterly timeless.
The second look was all about ease and versatility. I styled a chocolate-toned trench coat with pointed Khaite heels – such a simple pairing but incredibly refined. It’s the kind of outfit that works hard in your wardrobe without shouting. The watch was the final detail that brought it all together, adding a touch of polish that made the look feel considered and complete.
For the third outfit, I went for quiet luxury at its best. A perfectly oversized, tailored coat layered over fluid silk trousers, finished with structured Jil Sander heels. It’s the kind of ensemble that works anywhere – from day meetings to dinner – and the watch fits into that mix effortlessly. It didn’t compete for attention but rather enhanced the entire outfit. That’s what I love most about it: it’s subtle, elegant and enduring.
What did the Seiko Presage watches add to your looks?
My style is built on longevity. I’m always drawn to pieces that transcend trends, that I can wear season after season and still feel relevant. These watches reflect that ethos. They are refined without being flashy and the craftsmanship is undeniable. I love how they elevate a look without overpowering it. They’re the kind of accessory that enhances everything around it – classic but with a contemporary sharpness that feels completely at home in a modern wardrobe.
Describe your style for us...
I’d describe my style as minimal, elegant and quietly confident. I’m drawn to clean silhouettes, monochrome palettes, thoughtful tailoring and beautifully made basics. For me, it’s all about those understated details – the cut of a blazer, the texture of a knit or the drape of a silk trouser. I like my outfits to feel effortless but intentional – nothing too polished but still considered. Ultimately, I always want to feel like myself in what I wear.
What influences the way you dress today?
Practicality plays a huge role in how I dress but never at the expense of style. I want to feel comfortable, confident and appropriately dressed for wherever the day takes me. I have a few core outfit formulas that I return to time and again – pieces I know work for me and that I can tweak depending on the occasion or mood. Over time, I’ve also become more conscious about how I shop. I value pieces that are made with care – both in design and in production. It’s important to me to support brands that prioritise quality and longevity, and that align with a slower, more intentional approach to fashion.
Talk us through your time working in fashion...
Fashion has always been part of my life. I’ve loved styling outfits and capturing moments through content for as long as I can remember. About five years ago, I started posting my looks more consistently on Instagram. It quickly became a space where I could express my aesthetic and connect with like-minded people. That natural passion evolved into something more and last year I launched my own brand.
The motivation behind starting my label came from a desire to create something truly considered. Over the years, I’d worked with many beautiful brands but often found that the quality didn’t always match the price point. I wanted to change that by creating pieces that felt luxurious but liveable, made with beautiful fabrics and impeccable attention to detail. Clothes that not only look good but feel good and last.
Tell us about your brand, Grènn Studio...
Grènn Studio is a reflection of everything I love about fashion. At its core, it’s about timeless, versatile pieces made with care and intention. I source fabrics from luxury houses in France, using their surplus materials to create something new – which means we’re not only reducing waste but also producing in very limited runs. Each piece feels exclusive, individual and deeply considered.
We're still in the early stages but the vision is clear: to build a brand rooted in craftsmanship, transparency and sustainability. Everything is produced locally in small batches, using natural fabrics and deadstock materials. Every piece has been carefully made and is designed to be worn, loved and reimagined for years to come. It’s not about trends or seasons, it’s about building a wardrobe that evolves with you.
If you could have anyone’s wardrobe, whose would it be?
Phoebe Philo’s, without a doubt. Her work has always resonated with me – there’s something so intelligent and assured about her designs. Every piece she creates feels both relevant and timeless. She has this rare ability to make clothes that empower without trying too hard and that’s the kind of energy I’m always drawn to.
Which pieces do you invest in?
I focus on investment pieces that serve as the foundation of my wardrobe – shoes, bags, outerwear and always a great watch. These are the elements that can instantly elevate a look and they only get better with time. I think there’s real value in buying less but buying better – pieces that hold meaning and continue to evolve with your style. Seiko is one of those brands that quietly gets it right – unfussy, reliable and always stylish. It’s the kind of name that’s earned its place in any wardrobe.
Where do you like to shop?
I love a curated mix – Parisian boutiques for that special find, Scandinavian brands for their cool minimalism and vintage stores for those one-of-a-kind pieces. The most interesting wardrobes are built from different sources, all chosen with the same eye for quality and craftsmanship. It's about discovering those pieces that really speak to you and feel personal.
Do you follow trends?
I keep an eye on what’s happening but I’ve never been one to chase trends. I prefer to invest in pieces that I know I’ll still want to wear in ten years – pieces that feel true to who I am. My style is more about refinement than reinvention and I think there’s something very empowering in knowing what works for you.
How do you accessorise?
Always with intention. I believe less is more when it comes to accessories – a statement piece of jewellery, a beautiful watch or a great bag can completely transform a look. I like to focus on one detail at a time, making sure it complements the overall outfit rather than overwhelming it. It’s all about creating balance and letting each element shine in its own way.
