I would describe my style as a mix of classic and contemporary.

I don’t focus too much on trends, but I do love everything oversized. One thing I go back to every autumn is oversized outerwear and I’m happy to invest a bit more in this. Many of the most treasured and higher-value pieces in my wardrobe are either coats or accessories.

When it comes to everyday dressing, comfort is key. It makes any outfit look much better executed.

My five year-round wardrobe essentials are an oversized blazer, a classic white shirt, peg-leg jeans, a trench coat and a chunky ankle boot. My favourite pair of chunky boots right now are from Tod’s and work so well with lots of pieces in my wardrobe.

If there’s one thing you should buy right now it’s a well-cut long coat. It’s a staple piece that can take you through to spring and, if it’s a good-quality one, you’ll have it in your wardrobe for years.

My biggest splurges were probably my amazing Celine Box bag and Acne Studios shearling coat – both investments, but I’ve used them so much they’ve been worth it.

For under the radar brands, check out Lara Krude for timeless, trans-seasonal pieces. I also recently came across 7115 NYC and Stylein – I’m obsessed with them both.

For winter weddings and events, I’d wear a tailored trouser suit with a great pair of heels. I have a tuxedo-style two-piece from Arket that’s perfect for these and can also be worn as separates.
And for nights out this season, I’ll be wearing a slip dress layered over a turtleneck. For me, it strikes just the right balance between dressing up and still feeling cosy and comfortable.
My favourite thing in my wardrobe right now is my faux-fur Totême coat. It’s the perfect Autumn/Winter piece as it’s so warm but still chic. I also recently bought an amazing Vince double-breasted Italian wool cardigan coat, which is so versatile.

I buy all my denim on the high street. Zara, Cos and Arket are my current favourites. Because I wear jeans almost every day, if I find a brand I like, I’ll shop for a few different cuts and washes.

I don’t believe great style equates to one formula. In my opinion, confidence and owning your look are key to always looking great.
My ultimate style icons are the Olsen twins. It might be a bit of a cliché, but I think they’ve really mastered their identity when it comes to personal style. I’m also girl-crushing on TyLynn Nguyen and Diletta Bonaiuti on Instagram – they both have such effortless style.

One thing I’d tell my 20-year-old self is that less is more. It should be about the quality of the pieces in your wardrobe, not the quantity.
