Rather than taking on any big fashion resolutions this year, I’m making small tweaks to the things I already love. For example, I’d like to continue pushing the boat out with my footwear to make my go-to outfits that little bit more interesting.

I’ve always loved wearing colour but I’m inspired to wear even more of it this year. I want to try wearing shades like burgundy, red, brown, blue, green and silver. Belts were also a hero for me towards the end of last year, so I’m going to bite the bullet and invest in a quality piece this year. Party season was so much fun, so I want to make more of an effort when I go out for dinner or to events this year – not just reaching for an oversized blazer or silky trousers, but opting for a cool going-out top or dress instead.

Style goes further than just fashion, and plays into beauty too. I’ll be adding a tinted lip oil or lightweight lipstick in order to look more put together.  I’m also fully in my self-care era and want to focus more on my skin, nail and hair health this year.

As someone who’s constantly experimenting with fashion, there’s not one particular trend or style that defines my wardrobe. Throughout the past year I stepped out of my comfort zone with more feminine pieces, including socks with loafers and blazers and tights. For 2024, I’ll be taking inspiration from the SS24 Peter Do runway where we saw plenty of masculine silhouettes infused with feminine touches.

I also want to incorporate more statement pieces into my everyday looks. Instead of always reaching for the same grey, longline coat, I like the idea of throwing on an off-white, satin blazer for a more interesting take. To tap into my South Asian heritage, I’ll be styling these vibrant Punjabi jhumka earrings with my existing wardrobe.

If the British weather has taught me anything, it’s to never leave the house without a pair of sunglasses. I’ll be sticking to more classic aviator and oval styles that can elevate any look.

I enjoy reassessing my wardrobe at the start of the year. It’s the perfect opportunity for a thorough clear-out, and a chance to try new styles and combinations. While I typically shy away from colour, I've decided to incorporate some red accessories this year to inject some interest into my everyday looks. Additionally, I'm considering investing in a standout coat, leaning towards either a cream shearling or a faux fur.

For the office I’m sticking to oversized tailoring – think the AW23 runway at Saint Laurent and Gucci, where maxi coats, oversized blazers and masculine trousers were worn with slim roll-necks and statement earrings. Tove was a standout show for me last season so I’ll be emulating the aesthetic of its runway.

I'm also focusing on refining my knitwear. I believe in investing wisely, recognising that I only need a few knits to carry me through the season. I’m always looking for the perfect oversized Aran jumper and I really want to add some fringed knitwear to my wardrobe, too.

My 2024 moodboard isn't about finding a brand new style – I've spent years curating my wardrobe and investing in timeless classics that I can rewear season after season. It's more of a vision board that defines my style, the colour palette, the go-to looks that never fail. For me, the beauty is in the simplicity; it's effortless, classic and reflects my aesthetic.

Yet again, Khaite is the brand that resonates most with me and my style – the looks have a polished ease that work time and again. It's really setting the tone for the season – think buttery soft leather, sharp tailoring and lots of white for a clean and modern contrast.

My colour palette will remain the same this year – black, white and grey, with silver taking centre stage in the accents and accessories (I loved the transition from gold to silver last year). I'll also be incorporating more chocolate brown as a softer alternative to black and rely on jewellery to complete my looks.

My 2024 moodboard is very much in keeping with my existing style – chic, timeless and with a feminine touch. I always start the year with a big wardrobe sort out. I find this so therapeutic, especially as it reminds me of what I have. Then, I make a list of the pieces I feel I'm missing.

This year, my list includes some new sunglasses. Having misplaced a few pairs this summer I now have quite the gap, and I have my sights set on this oval cat-eye pair by Celine. Last year I enjoyed wearing more jewellery and want to continue doing this. I love how a statement earring can really lift an outfit.

As for brands, I've been loving the latest campaigns by Almada Label and Totême. I will continue to take inspiration from them. I also love this look from the Chanel show and this pretty pink Rejina Pyo puff-sleeved blouse. Massimo Dutti Studio has a similar style if you're on a budget.

My ultimate wish list item this year is a pair of Chanel ballet flats. I’ve been saving images of them on Instagram for so long. I think they would slot seamlessly into my wardrobe and would be so useful come spring. Time to start saving...

I like to have a wardrobe reset in the New Year. There are a few brands that really resonate with me, so I always start by checking out their new look books and latest shows. White always feels fresh and I loved Victoria Beckham’s SS24 show, especially the all-in-one. Tove also had some great white tops.

For work, I love the idea of jackets from Blazé Milano and British brand Liberowe. Both labels have put a modern spin on the classic bouclé jacket this season – perfect for dressing up jeans and a tee. I also always bookmark a fantasy buy or two, and this year it has to be the statement silhouettes and unabashed femininity on offer at Erdem – it's such a beautiful collection.
