I sneak in a girls' lunch in the middle of my working day so it has to be something suitable for the office, but not too boring. Neutral separates are a versatile option for a daytime look. Trainers and a grey marl tee add a relaxed contrast to classic tailoring.

I don't own that many dresses. I prefer to mix and match my elevated separates – it just seems more practical. A draped top styled with silk flowing pants is a cool and comfortable look for dinners out, and monochrome is a great go-to in the evening – it doesn’t need much thought, but always looks elegant and put together.

A trench is the kind of timeless piece worth investing in – it’s something I tend to wear on repeat all season. It’s such an easy way to elevate a basic jeans-and-a-tee combo. I always go for a slightly oversized fit, which makes for a cool silhouette and allows for a bit of layering before the weather really warms up.

Basics can look pulled together and polished if you invest in good quality pieces with a timeless aesthetic. I can’t remember a time when a loose navy blazer hasn’t been an integral part of my wardrobe – it’s a basic that is seasonless and never goes out of style. Classic blue jeans and a white tee is a pairing I return to season after season.

Comfort is key here. When I’m off duty, I love a pair of relaxed baggy jeans, an oversized blazer and a simple tee. Black and white is a chic daytime look and can easily be thrown together. I keep my accessories classic to add a chic touch.

I love how seasonless and minimalist slip dresses are – I wear them with sandals and flats in the summer, and style them with boots and jumpers in the colder weather. For date night, I add a classic tuxedo jacket and my favourite Chanel bag – cool and not too dressed up.
