A far cry from the micro bags of yore, big bags are now better according to the likes of Remain Birger Christensen, Aeron Studio and OpéraSPORT. Shoulder styles or clutches, some almost comically sized bags were the hot ticket on the runway, which is good news for those who like to carry everything but the kitchen sink.
Sheer Fabric
From Rotate's embellished skirts to Remain’s mesh boots, the sex appeal of see-through pieces is now being balanced out by heavier fabrics like leather, and oversized silhouettes which (you guessed it) are still big news.

Warm Neutrals
Copenhagen is known as the most colourful city on the fashion circuit, but this year brands embraced a neutral palette with just pops of bright red, blue and lilac. In classic Scandi fashion, those neutrals leaned towards warmer tones like beige, khaki, brown and burgundy.

Leather, Leather, Leather
Scandi brands know how to do leather – and that mastery was in evidence everywhere from the streets to the runways this year. Some braved micro-shorts (despite single-digit temperatures) while androgynous jackets, smart dresses and biker-style trousers cropped up in almost every show. As with neutrals, warmer tones like burgundy, beige and chocolate brown are clearly the ones to update your wardrobe with now.

Red
You’ll likely have seen it heralded as the colour of the season – and the Copenhagen fashion girls didn’t miss the memo. Whether it was a subtle pop of colour with tights or a handbag, or a head-to-toe look like Nina Sandbech, they demonstrated plenty of playful and chic ways to wear it now.
Faux Fur
A nod to the ubiquitous ‘Mob wife’ trend, giant faux fur jackets were worn by the likes of Jeanette Madsen, Renia Jaz and Amaka Hamelijnck. While they were undeniably a practical choice against chilly temperatures, the coat is an easy piece to throw on top of any outfit and inject some glamour during the winter months.

Statement Headwear
Street style stars proved that keeping warm can still mean having fun, as balaclavas, bright beanies and fuzzy hats were seen in their droves. Go tonal for a sleek take on the look, or opt for a pop of colour if you’re feeling braver.
