Things Our Senior Fashion Editor Is Loving
The Sunglasses
I’ll be investing in a new pair of designer sunglasses this season and I’ve just discovered Loewe’s iconic Anagram style. I’ll be moving away from black but sticking with the cat-eye shape – the lighter colour helps balance out the chunky frames.
The Dress
La Ligne's Phillipa dress ticks all the boxes - the elastic waist gives shape, the exaggerated sleeves add femininity. Plus, it's 100% cotton which means it's machine washable - it really doesn't get more more effortless than this.
The Cardigan
Almada Label has been on my radar for a little while now and its Aria Knit Jacket is top of my new-season wish list. Feminine and grown up, it has dropped shoulders and a detachable tie belt – I love the idea of wearing it with light tailored trousers.
The Holiday Buy
I’ll be seeing out the last of the summer sun in this relaxed two-piece from Australian resort wear brand Boteh. Style the top with the co-ordinating shorts, layer it over a bikini and team it with light-wash denim later.
The Bag
Celine bags are never not on my Wishlist and the mix of the Triomphe-embroidered canvas, leather and gold hardware feels so perfect for now. This tote will instantly add a luxury edge to jeans and white shirts.
The New Capsule
Australian brand Posse The Label has just - this week - launched a line of basics including classics like stripe tees, versatile tanks, effortless shirts and vintage-inspired jeans. Perfect for in-between seasons.
The Jewellery
Statement earrings are the easiest way to elevate a look and US import Mignonne Gavigan has some fun, stylish and affordable options this season. For an extra take on a gold hoop, the Perneille is a winner. Otherwise, the Madeline is guaranteed to add something a bit extra.
The Trousers
Leather trousers are always worth investing in at the very beginning of the season. The longer length of this LouLou Studio pair will give a relaxed feel when paired with trainers, but they'll also look so chic with heels.
The Transitional Tops
Who doesn’t love a white blouse? I plan on investing in a couple to bridge the gap between summer and autumn, and I always look to details like puff sleeves and clever pleats to keep things fresh and interesting.
The Jumper
I can’t wait for the launch of Navy Grey’s stripe jumper. Chunky, oversized and with a drop sleeve, it’s made in the UK using wool from British farms. I’ll be wearing it with everything from denim to leather.
The Trainers
I’m feeling slightly exhausted by the trainer hype lately, so I’m taking it back to basics. These Stan Smith sneakers are so simple – they’ll go with everything.
