Fragrances include fig tree and orange blossom; or basil and polished wood. You’ll find an odour-removing candle, multi-surface cleaner, dishwashing liquid and a rather chic dish brush on our wish list.

Elvis

From flamboyant filmmaker Baz Luhrmann comes Elvis. Starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, the film explores the life and music of Elvis Presley, seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker. The story delves into the complex dynamic between Presley and Parker and spans more than 20 years, charting Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, all against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and his relationship with Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).

THE ACCESSORY:

Marzoline X Alexandra Carello

Luxury fashion expert Alexandra Carello has teamed up with Marzoline Milano – the Italian headwear brand founded by twins Allegra and Desideria – on a summer collection. Designed to be lightweight, the collection focuses on oversized pieces that are simple and not overly fussy. We especially love the linen maxi bows, which come in four summery colours.

THE HOLIDAY MUST-HAVE:

Oliver James Doubles

Luxury lilo maker Oliver James’s new Slim Aarons-style ‘Doubles’ are inspired by iconic destinations such as the Hamptons and Los Angeles and come in two colourways. Like the single lilos, these are secure, long-lasting luxury pool floats made with woven outdoor performance fabrics and soft-to-touch TPU inflatable film. Each of the products is a more sustainable alternative to cheap, plastic inflatables and can be used both in and out of the water, complementing a beach, poolside, garden or boat experience.

THE BOOK:

Vladimir by Julia May Jonas

The book to be seen with this summer, Vladimir follows a popular English professor, whose husband – a charismatic professor at the same small liberal arts college in the US – is under investigation for his inappropriate relationships with his former students. The couple have long had a mutual understanding when it comes to their extramarital pursuits, but with these new allegations, life has become far less comfortable for them both. And when the unnamed narrator becomes increasingly infatuated with Vladimir, a celebrated, married young novelist who’s just arrived on campus, their world comes dangerously close to exploding.

THE COLLECTION:

Erdem Vacation

Inspired by nature and the desire to explore and travel, Erdem’s new Vacation collection contrasts archival floral prints with bold stripes and Ikat motifs. Both relaxed and luxurious, dresses and skirts are adorned with delicate flower embroidery or broderie anglaise detail and are available in rich tones of rust and yellow. Accessories come in the shape of heavyweight cotton bucket hats, printed visors, woven straw basket bags and striped totes, while high-waisted bikinis in bold floral prints mark the brand’s first foray into swimwear.
