THE FRAGRANCE:

Zarkoperfume

By experimenting with gel-like molecular compounds, Zarko Ahlman Pavlov found a special molecule that, in combination with water, develops a unique odour in every human being based on the body's own fragrance. His beauty brand Zarkoperfume focuses on the Scandinavian way of life and the Nordic freshness of his native Denmark. From the current collection of scents, we like the sound of Pink Molecule – an interpretation of pink champagne mixed with spring water and breeze through trees.

THE COLLAB:

Anine Bing X MVB

Anine Bing has launched a limited-edition collection of statement fashion jewellery designed in collaboration with influencer and brand muse, Marie von Behrens-Felipe. Inspired by vintage costume jewellery, there are four unique pieces to choose from, including a gold-plated bracelet, necklace and earrings, in addition to a pair of sterling silver plated earrings. “Anine and I decided a while ago that we wanted to work on something together and a small jewellery collection just seemed like the perfect fit,” Marie tells us. “We pulled a lot of inspiration from vintage pieces and landed on these four designs. Everything works so well for literally any occasion, whether you’re meeting your friends for lunch or going out for date night.”

THE FILM:

Aftersun

Charlotte Wells’s Cannes winner Aftersun lands in UK cinemas on 18th November. At a fading holiday resort in the late 1990s, 11-year-old Sophie (Frankie Corio) treasures rare time together with her loving and idealistic father, Calum (Paul Mescal, Normal People). As a world of adolescence creeps into view, beyond her eye Calum struggles under the weight of life outside fatherhood. Twenty years later, Sophie's tender recollections of their last holiday become a powerful and heartrending portrait of their relationship, as she tries to reconcile the father she knew with the man she didn't.

The botanicals capture the aroma and flavour profile of an English garden in summer bloom: think blossoms of jasmine, hibiscus and chamomile. The floral bouquet, with notes of ripe white stone fruit, is uplifting, while the finish is subtle and refreshing. Just the thing to remind you of summer days now the dark nights are here.
