New-Season Style Inspiration Our Fashion Editors Are Saving

This season, I’m loving texture, tailoring and bold prints. Leather and suede are still a no-brainer but I’m also embracing lace for the evenings. Cobalt blue is another trend I’m loving, especially in accessories – it's a great way to add a pop of colour and refresh your existing looks.

For me, the cooler months are all about investment pieces that feel worth the money – a great shearling coat, a structured leather bag, suede loafers you’ll wear on repeat. I love mixing those heavier, more tactile textures with something softer and more feminine, like a silk slip dress or a broderie blouse, so nothing feels too serious. It’s really about building a wardrobe of pieces that work hard individually but also complement each other – classic and built to last well beyond one season.

It’s no secret that autumn/winter is my favourite season. The art of layering really comes into its own and, while I’ll be favouring a monochrome colour palette, the secret lies in mixing contrasting textures – think soft cashmere with tougher leather, wool with crisp tailoring – and seeing how they complement and offset one another.

It won’t surprise anyone to hear that even as we move into autumn/winter, I still want to hold on to the joy of summer. My favourite way to do that is by embracing rich colours, luxurious textures and a maximalist approach to dressing. I see animal print as a neutral, which is why it forms the foundation of so many of my looks. From camel-toned zebra print to rich chocolate brown snakeskin, these prints add depth while remaining versatile. I also love transitioning my colour palette from bright yellows to warmer, moodier mustard shades, creating outfits that feel perfectly in tune with the season while still capturing that vibrant, uplifting energy.

Loulou De Saison has my attention already. I’m obsessed with animal print at the moment and this Bambi-inspired piece feels soft, understated and chic. By Malene Birger has also perfectly captured my autumn mood. I’m particularly drawn to the rich textures, and fringe is a detail I don’t think will ever go out of style. This coat feels elevated yet effortless – exactly the kind of piece I want to build my autumn wardrobe around. For tailoring, I keep coming back to De Savary. I’ve had my eye on this satin trench; it feels so elegant and adds an unexpected softness to classic tailoring. Then there’s silver. I keep gravitating towards it, whether it’s rhinestone statement jewellery or sculptural hard-shell bags. It’s such an easy way to add interest and a little glamour to evening looks.
