Calf Hair Loafers, £790 | Dries Van Noten
The Wedge-Heel Pumps, £560 | Toteme
Kitten Heel Boots, £59.99 | Zara

Loafers are an absolute must for me in winter – they take the place of all my summer pumps and trainers. I tend to wear them with cropped jeans or trousers, and always have a ribbed sock on show. I love a winter wool skirt with knee-high boots and I find a kitten heel is not only chic but also practical for everyday. For something a bit dressier, I love these sculptural heels from TOTEME – I'll wear them with silky trousers to all my Christmas parties.

Brunswick Slingback Clogs, £195 | Russell & Bromley
Luco Loafers, £790 | Celine
Taz Premium Leather Knee High Heeled Boots, £140 | Topshop

These Celine loafers are high on my wish list right now; I love the subtle logo detail. I also really rate Topshop for shoes and these leather boots would be so useful this winter. I also have these clogs from Russell & Bromley on the brain – they look so comfortable and I’d style them with a red cashmere sock.

Nina Heels With Metal Toe Cap, £480 | Anine Bing
Remy Knee Boots, £478 | Reformation
Plume Moccasin Shoes, £760 | Bally

I’m still not over the boat shoe trend and these Bally chocolate leather flats are top of my wish list. Worn with grey socks and straight cut jeans – it's such a chic autumn look. Knee-high boots are a staple at this time of year and these Reformation boots would be so useful. I love a long tailored trouser with an oversized knit, and paired with these toe-cap heels from Anine Bing, it’s a failsafe outfit formula.

Bomber Star Metallic Boots, £245 | Inuikii
Amel 50 Crystal Mesh & Satin Pumps, £1,175 | Jimmy Choo
Split Leather High-Heel Ankle Boots, £159 | Massimo Dutti

There’s a gap in my wardrobe for some new evening shoes and I’m very drawn to this pair from Jimmy Choo. With a ski trip booked in, I’m also thinking practically. These silver boots from Inuikii would add a fun edge to my outfits. I also spotted these on Massimo Dutti – the heel height and the dark chocolate shade mean they’d work so well with denim and knits.

Cosmo Crocodile Embossed Leather Boots, £220 | Michael Kors
Emmett Flats, £335 | Paige
Lee Slingback Pumps, £955 | Saint Laurent

These chocolate croc-print boots from Michael Kors are the perfect shape and height for everyday. When I want to keep it cosy but still smart, then these shearling-lined mules are ideal. They’re such a practical choice but don’t compromise on style. There are lots of events and dinner parties at this time of year, so I occasionally splurge on luxury heels, and these burgundy courts have caught my eye this season. Rich in colour and with a sleek gold heel, I can tell they’ll be worth the investment.

Satin Multi-Bow High Heel Shoes, £49.99 | Zara
90 Calf Hair Pumps, £1,150 | Alaïa
Remy Knee Boots, £498 | Reformation

The easiest way to inject some colour into my look right now is with shoes and accessories. I love the colour and shape of these Alaïa heels. Leopard print is a neutral for me, so these boots will work with so much of my wardrobe – plus, the kitten heel makes them super wearable. Lastly, I'm looking forward to party season and these black Zara slingbacks have caught my eye – I really like the bow details.
